how long can you sit at a baccarat table without betting............. until you are ready? or only at organic/electronic/stadium can you stay idle for a time?
QuoteBecause the house always wins. Play long enough, you never change the stakes. The house takes you. Unless, when that perfect hand comes along, you bet and you bet big, then you take the house.

Depends on the casino. Generally if it's busy and you are not a known player meaning a regular player with a decent-size wager they will generally ask you to get up and let someone else play if you're not going to wager. If it's not busy they generally will not say anything from all the casinos I have been to no matter what size player you are. High-limit rooms versus main floor tables brings a different set of protocol as well and being a known player with front money deposited brings a whole other set of protocol giving the player a pass on almost anything he desires to do.

Thanks

My local casino (resorts world and Jakes 58) has the electronic baccarat. Cards in glass. No dealer

Not sure how I feel about it

Good question.

At high stakes live rooms with few active players and knowing that you are entitled to get huge comps, you are supposed to bet a lot of hands. Bad situation unless you bet the minimum for most hands and plenty for (supposedly) key hands.

At normal rooms, at least in Vegas (RIo, Gold Coast, Palace Station, etc) nobody is going to kick you off because you rarely bet.

Notice that in Europe almost always you can bet whatever and whenever you want even as a standing player.

Rule of the thumb for Casino hosts in the marketing department is  supposed to be 4 hours play time per day for comp level of full RF&B however the last couple of years a lot of the casinos have lowered the time allotted for one game Baccarat if you wager 60% or more of the hands to one hour play per shoe for your time average, no matter how long it is because so many of the baccarat games will drag out to two to two and a half hours easily depending on how many players are sitting down at the table and if it's Macau style or regular style meaning mini which there ain't very many mini in the high-limit rooms.

But all experienced players that's been the route for a number of years knows you don't play for comp which is absolutely silly but some do of course those are the ones that never learn.
