I only play in Biloxi so I thought to pose the question here. Clumping While playing at the Golden Nugget,Biloxi it was pointed out by a rather Obnoxious fellow just cussing up a storm. He was complaining about what he called clumping. I had never paid attention to this before but he was correct. He claimed it made the came Not Random.

For example. Three King of Diamonds appear one right after the other. Im not a math guy but there are only eight King of Diamonds in the entire 8 deck shoe. Seems strange that they appear altogether. If it happened once in awhile it would be ok i suppose but it occurs pretty often. It just kept on 3,4 and 5 of spades, Two jack of hearts back to back. The last hand had three eight of clubs appear.

Also happens at Harrahs , both these casinos get cards preshuffled and then placed in shuffler at table. Imperial Palace they take 8 decks and spread em around on table when table opens and I don't see this clumping.

The Question, is there any advantage or disadvantage to the clumping phenomena. Seems like it might cut down on the dragon payouts that i'm not concerned with anyway. Might entice some to place $ on the Tie bet.

Card clumping is a subject that has concerned BJ players for a LONG time.  Because it's card order that matters it "appears" that clumping in Baccarat, if it exists, has no exploitable method.  It needs to be studied carefully.

IMO, it is irrelevant to our Bacc game for two reasons.  1) It probably doesn't effect the outcome due to card order as just mentioned and 2) even if it did it would be nearly impossible to predict with any significant advantage,

BJ another story altogether.
