I'm thinking of building a 'baccarat room' over at baccaratlabs. I would love some input from the members here.

You can find the thread at http://baccaratlabs.com/showthread.php?75-The-Baccarat-Room-Online-App

or you can reply here...here is the posting:

I'm thinking of building an online baccarat room for the forum (baccarat labs.com).

I have two questions

:1) Would you use something like this?

2) Do you have any input on features?

Here are the details off the top of my head:-

The baccarat room simulates real life play of an 8 deck shoe.

-It will be an RNG style game, (think online casino RNG baccarat)

-The room will have score cards that you can manually mark and adjust in your screen.

- I can make the score cards print friendly so you can print them at the end of a shoe.

- It will be social - the baccarat room will integrate with the forum (not this one). You will be awarded points and badges as you complete various milestones. The badges will appear in your profile. That's all that I can think of for now.

Now here are some further choices on where to host the app:

IOS: Apple Iphones - This will be very expensive to build. And it will be more complicated to integrate it into the forum. Plus the app may not get approved.

Android: No need for approval...but again, there are still some complications with integration.

Online - I can build this app fully online. This will have the fastest turn-around time. And I can eventually make an IOS and Android friendly site.

So please give input. I'll collect as much information as possible. And then I will consider building a minimal version of the app.

Interesting! We've wanted a "roulette room" since a long time ago. Sadly -at least in our community- no coder likes to engage in large projects with no ROI, so nobody has came up with actual code for it.

Maybe charging a small fee for the fake chips it might work? i.e. as something on the side for long-term recovery. Say charging 0.10 per 100 units.

People certainly would prefer to pay for real-money chips with actual withdrawal possibility, but the entertainment value of playing along known posters in the community might be enough of an incentive.

Just throwing a bit of input. Great stuff indeed.

If your program follows the intuitive formats like Baccarat On, Baccarat Free and Baccarat Pro for the iOS that would be great. Yet an online version. Yet unlike Baccarat On though I would like the time between bets to be 10 seconds as opposed to 20 seconds. 20 seconds is too long of a time between bets.

Or you can head over to Wizard of Vegas and have something like what they have for Baccarat would be good too.

A major plus is if you would allow us to input our on starting bankroll would be a definite plus but not required.
