Does anyone use Greg Fletcher's BAT system with any success?

The only players that prevail at 'systems' are the sellers, simple and 100%.

When someone speaks the brutal truth, most can't accept that it just might be true.

The problem with baccarat unlike most other card games, is since it is either one side or the other (minus the carnival bets/side bets) is that with whatever you find as your triggers and key wagers (or belief in 'systems') will work sometimes and that give huge fuel to the fire you light--with putting up your hard earned money, AKA--your buy-in.

The same way all those key wagers, triggers, and systems--work sometimes, they will not work an equal amount of the 'other' times when you play.  And, almost every single one of us/you, do not and will never have the will power to go to a casino, wait for one or two or maybe (pushing it) three triggers, hit them and leave.  And, if you were successful at that, you will go back and try it again and lose and lose more the subsequent trips.

Same with sex, first time--hit it and leave, did you stop?  Same thing with a great steak and food.  Same thing with those of you that smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol.  Same, no different.  Put a drink in front of someone that drinks and tell him to take a sip.  Does he do that and then consumes no more??

It is a true random game and when all your systems and triggers work, there will be an eye-opening penalty for the same exact triggers, which is that they will not prevail in any particular order.

It is easier to walk when you lose, with or without anything in your pocket.

It is extremely hard and next to impossible for most (MOST, not 100%, but most) to walk with winnings.  There is a ton of psychology employed which includes the chip rack, comps, nice things, comfortable surroundings (most places), hosts, and a long list of other items. Coupled with your mind on your new found way to 'make money easy'.  Until you get it all in perspective and all figured out, it won't be pretty and smooth.

Played well over 36,951 shoes of baccarat since I started playing at B&M USA casinos.

THE PURPOSE OF GAMING IS TO WIN!

"Don't say it's a winning hand until you are getting paid for it".

Played numerous properties in Las Vegas, Reno, Southern California, Atlantic City, Connecticut, South Florida, The South/Southeast as well as most areas of The Midwest.

Baccarat, actually a mixture of Watergate, attacking the Gotti Family and the famous ear biting Tyson fight leading to disqualification and a near riot.  Bac has all that & more.

Thanks for the response.  I have played Baccarat for over 30 years, and have done fairly well, though I do not always win, it comes in streaks.  I tried the BAT system in practice mode on an online casino for about 50 games.  It did quite well.  Then, I went to a local casino.  I did cut down the progression from 30 units to 13.  I immediately lost total bankroll.  I didn't even have a chance to order a drink.  Then, yesterday I tried it again.  I won the first game, then tried a second and lost.

This is why I asked the forum.  Was it just me, or is it a stupid system.  I think I have my answer.  Thanks to all who commented.

For a number of years I have been using a system called Yin/Yang for bet selection.  When it works, it is uncanny how it knows the next bet.  However, it works for about 40 - 45% of shoes.  I have been successful using it with my own MM.  When it stops working, I simply sit out or exit the shoe and wait for it to start working again.  I purchased the system from someone in Vegas about 7 years ago.  I will go back to that.  At least I know it's limitations.

I never understood how cats could blow their minds and their entire lifetimes bankroll bucking up against a single bad session, hey hey!

Anyone with skill in the game should be able to identify a system's weaknesses quickly.  Discretionary overly to counter those weaknesses.

Hello, Bacply.  Loved this post....especially your "When it stops working, I simply sit out...and wait for it to start working again."

Why?  Because every system fails, every method fails, everybody fails.  Acknowledgement is important, for it is only when you are very familiar with your faults and failures can you even begin to correct them.

And so you learn your nemesis and rather than trying to bully past it (read: steep negative progressions), you acknowledge its existence and learn that the best remedy is your "no-bet" option, where you sit it out.

Patience and discipline are paramount to anyone's long-term success.
