My second win last night ($5,400.00, I contribute to reading something Gizmotron wrote the other day—that I read last night, over and over and over and over and over again).  This happened after I had already got up, cashed out and stood off the side of the cashier for a good 3 minutes and thought.  I had a clear and 'refined' kind of vision I have been attempting to explain within the post I wrote that no one cares to discuss, (which is reality and real gambling), like I said--contribute to reading what Gizmotron wrote the other day.

This is what I realized last night and I will attempt to explain herein:

[attach=1]

I was not going to go to the casino last night.  But like I said, I read over and over, last night what Mark wrote.  Almost, what I have explained in detail I think and it actually put me from the outside looking in.  Please don't take this the wrong way as I have been gambling for close to 40 years and this is the furthest thing away from 'premonition' and 'gut feelings' or 'hey let's try and see what happens', types of play, etc.

It really does seem that the highest majority of members on this board continually believe in and search for the mechanical, pre-set and scheduled, holy-grail wager to repeatedly wager on trying to knock out the casino's lights and become wealthy with visions of yachts, mansions and exotic cars.  Anyway, 'reality', I love it and write about it from my experiences in the casino, 100%.  I have enough of the fairy tale world with my 5 year old as well as so many of the people I have to deal with on the interstates for my business, the state police officers, the supervisors for the Dept. of Transportation and the agents for the United States EPA district offices as well as other state officials, that have no clue whatsoever of the protocols, analytical and remediation industry standards and proper way to engage in the work we do, so they can review it and issue case closures.

Here is what Mark wrote that actually lifted me over that undefined and cloudy space, of looking in from the outside and knowing what you are doing, but can't really put yourself there:

"Being thoroughly invested in what one is doing means identifying with one's state, which implies knowing what one's actual experience or situation is, and since nothing remains static, this also means identifying with the flow of one's states, trusting in the current of life (Yontef, 1993). As a figure of interest emerges from the situational background, the person identifies with that figure and becomes so invested, so immersed in it, that the background drops away and out of awareness (Perls, Hefferline, & Goodman, 1951)–even though it is always there to offer context for the interpretation of experienc

For those that have actually played the game and gamble, you might relate?  You might not.  If you have the mind frame that the game of baccarat produces a certain something, over a period of time and by wagering a certain way for 'your event' that has to be produced, you will find sad and disastrous results most times.  Now I add, you have to be able to do what Mark wrote about that I quoted with the underlining above.  I am not transposing that to yourself and about your gambling life and total experiences.  I am talking at the bac table and putting yourself within the shoe and its presentments and how things are happening.  Not riding the wave as they say.  But, being inside the wave and seeing where the wave is coming from, going and when it is being formed.  That is what I am talking about.

Last Night:  I was not going to go to the casino as I said.  However.  I did.  Nobody was at the bac table playing.  I stood there and talked with the dealer I knew for some time.  I eventually bought in with $600.00 and my plan, which I do stick to most of the time, was to only do 4 wagers of $150.00 each and parlay any winnings 2 times.  $150, next $300, following $600.  Pocket $1,000.00 when and if I got the 2nd parlay accomplished, forever how many times I could last.  I was also going to do $25.00 or $50.00 on the first 10 hands for a Fortune 7 attempt.  I lost $300.00 right away and then I won one and lost one more.  I had $150.00 left.  I had additional funds and 99.9% of the times I will not re-buyin if I lose my buy-in funds.  I won the next four wagers and pocketed by $600.00 back and played a bit.  The shoe got a good 30 hands into itself.  No ties!  No F-7's, No Pandas.  Lots of naturals bouncing back and forth with the chop.  Then the bank gets to making 4 repeats and I was on it.  Nothing went more than 3 prior at this point.  I stayed on the Banker and it went 8 repeats.  All the numbers were strong for the Banker or reducing the Player to zero or nearly zero and increasing the Banker to 8 or 9 if a third card was pulled.  I stopped wager for the Fortune-7 but then I told the dealer, 'I feel it and really do'.  I saw it coming and remembered Mark's post the night before that I quoted here.  At that point there was the hand with a black jack on the Players side and a 3 on the Bankers side.  Player pulls a 5 and Bankers pull a 5 also.  I had $50.00 up on the F-7 and $15.00 for the dealer on it as well.  I really felt it and the dealer also said it.  This is a dealer that I have known for quite some time and he is not one of the ones that always encourages players every other hand and seldom says anything along those lines.  I looked at him and he looked at me.  I put the same wager back up in the F-7.  Players show a 2 and the Banker shows another 3.  Players pull an Ace and he pulls the Banker card out.  He picks it barely up off the table and I put my head down to peek at it and it is either a 4 or another 5.  It was a 4.  Great!  Now I am up $2k and he drops his $615.00 in his box.  I go heavy on the Banker and of course it cuts to the Players with a Natural 9 over a Bankers 7.  The next 4 hands I lose.  I lost most of my feeling but I did notice the hand presentments were still strong and weak.  Meaning the Player was being reduced and the Banker was adding points each time except of an occasional 1 Player or so.  No one else is playing and I decided to take my $700.00 profit or so, maybe just under $800.00 and head home.  It was 9:30 PM with a 1.5 hour drive and 30 min's to get cashed out and out of the casino property on the highway, etc.  Have to wake up at 5:30 AM to be able to open my business for my guys coming by 7 AM.  I cash out and walking past the table.  A few hands past, not many and another guy is playing now.

I buy back in with $100.00.  I throw it up on the Banker and win.  I wager the $200.  Same thing.  I wager that, same thing.  I take the $800.00 and was about to walk away, but I really saw the wave and I even told the dealer. Only 2 ties, about the numbers and how they are totaling out, etc.  The Bankers side made 3 banks 3 times to 1 player, 3 times also.  The last 4 hands for the Banker brought the bank within 1 point below an F-7 or 1 point above it, each time.  I am down to $200.00 of the $800.00 I had.  I put up $150.00 on the Banker and $50 on the F-7 and throw up a $20.00 bill and give 4 red chips.  Put up another 3 chips for the dealer and the other red on the $150 green I had on the Banker.  I throw up another $5 bill and get another red chip.  I gave $10 red to the other guy playing to put up on his F-7 since they have a $2k limit on the F-7 and P-8 wagers.  Players come out with a 6 and the banker has 2 face cards.  The third card is the 7 we needed.  A few hands go by.  Same thing.  2 or 3 Bankers and 1 Player.  All reducing the Players side to zero or nearly zero or the Banker winning 9 over 8 or 7 over 6, etc.  Still low ties, like 4 total and we are sitting at hand 55 or so.

I stopped for a few on the F-7 and then started again.  Another comes out and I had $50.00 on mine and $25.00 on the other players F-7 as well.  The $5,400.00 I won off the second time I sat down and bought back in, I let the back ground drop out and I was transposed and clearly able to see the waves the shoe was presenting.  I won some other wagers on the Bankers as well as the Players, but the $5,400.00 is 100% contributed to being able to have that vision.

I know my 'gut feelings', the 'premonition feelings' and the 'go for it' types of feelings and this was not any of those.  No, it was not ESP or anything of the like.  It was the situational background, being immersed in it and aware of the experiences I write about.  Especially how the Banker was 'hovering' right around the F-7 numerous times and presenting itself.

"Hover"
•  remain poised uncertainly in one place or between two states.
•  wait or linger close at hand in a tentative or uncertain manner.
•  remain at or near a particular level.

Strong
No Ties

[From:  Blue_Angel  Within: Re: Casino Math and Statistics @ Baccarat Forum:
"As casinos are so certain for their built in edge based on lesser payouts (according probability), so could be the player who aims for long term profit instead of short term."]

Yes, there most certainly is the long term, going for bigger wins with different kinds of fuels, the probability of what has the greater chance of happening, etc., etc.  I have explained in detail as well, the short term, the 'sections' of a shoe as compared to the whole shoe or several shoes.  Playing and a continuous 'reset and refreshing', which is an absolute must.  Very very difficult and extremely mind occupying task, by the way.  However, to continually bang it and repeatedly wager with good sized bets and positive progression to be in the right place at the right time, will bankrupt you and cause complete disaster most every time.  The points I have been bringing forward the past couple of months, is being at the skating rink, skating but not speed skating and getting in their from start to finish and maintaining a constant win average.  It cannot be done, sorry—just can't be done, not with small money or large money, not with a huge bankroll and being able to absorb large negative swings.

I am talking about and telling you guys how to go to the casino, have a certain risk amount and being able to have far greater and larger wins as compared to the times you will loss the one-time buy in risk amount.  And, that entails a hell of a lot more info, data, experience and other things than following a few mechanical pre-set scheduled wagers which you learned in strategic baccarat or from some purchased system, where you are wagering for the shoe presentment to match your desired wager.

For a person that might be inquisitive as to where the rabbits came from and where they go to in his yard, instead of pulling up in your rear driveway at night with the bright lights on and coming in off the alley at 15 or 20 mph and seeing the rabbits scatter, why not park a house away, tip-toe and observe what the rabbits are doing, where they came from and where they go way to?   You won't learn it in one night or even two nights.  It just might take a year or two or five in fact, I don't know.  But there are ways of finding things out no matter what the statistics and mathematical results produce in baccarat.  The same as reading a book or researching on the internet where rabbits hide or what they do prior to them perched on their hind legs with their nose down and their whiskers twitching when you are not there in your rear yard.  Just maybe the ones the scientist and animal experts studied for 7 years all had such and such habits and they wrote a paper that had, 'The Definitive Habits of Rabbits'.  Just maybe the rabbits that I wanted to learn about and see where and why they do things, did not read that experts scholastic paper and are completely different?  Just maybe, huh?  Oh yeah—and by the way, those rabbits might not always be there when that guy pulls into his rear drive way, but then again---they might be eve night at the same time, same place and then all of a sudden—they are nowhere to be found!

I have had lots of larger, much larger wins, it is not the amount, but it is the reality and the realization as to how and why this happened last night.  I know, a little bit complex and not fun to get 300 replies and 30,000 views on this topic because it is not the 'answer to your losing by just following a wager on the banker side after a double repeat by player because it has to cut', which I shoe charts and graphs of 10,000 shoes that produces 71% wins on that banker bet.  Or something along those lines anyway.  Baccarat is a bit complex and if you think you can pick an event that has a certain statistical outcome and win off it—you just might be the casinos best friend and valued player.

I'm waiting to see what the author of that paragraph thinks of your experience and what you wrote. He probably won't write anything, but he just might just the same.

For me it was a moment of complete astonishment. I steered into a perfect continuing pattern. I won $3,000 with a starting bankroll of $60 in thirty minutes. That started me wondering about randomness.

Mark,

I want to clarify here before I get accused of citing I found 'ESP' or received the 'holy-grail' vision with magical powers, etc.  Furthest thing from what happened.

I seen winning and losing coming in the past.  I have played and watched during both consciousness and physical states of play with those visions.  But never able to actually get on the wave and for sake of anything else, actually be able to transpose myself with an extreme level of consciousness and vision with the things I wrote that I feel are player's advantages.  That was the point I was at, when I stepped away from the cashiers cage.

This is greatly different and completely opposite of getting on a hot-roll or a streak and riding it.  That is what I am trying to express and detail out.  It is hard to explain.

10 years ago plus, I might have won thousands and then go back to the table and tell myself I would buy in with 25% and if i lose I lose, walk away.  And then more and more and more, win or lose--usually lose, etc.  That is not what happened last night.  I don't do the former I mentioned after cashing out any longer.  I don't do the 'extra chances' to win more, etc.  That is 'reaching' and 'wishing', same as when I first sit down at the table.  I was done, all of my decisions were made to cash out and leave.  After all for 30-45 mins, up $800 or so is not bad, should have cashed out the $2k and played with a few hundred.  All good.

But I transposed myself and thought about the short posting you did.  Nothing scientific.  Nothing magical.  But that allowed me to define the wave and define what the shoe was presenting.  I wrote about this stuff, not about what you posted but about what the shoe produces at times and how, with the thousands of times I witnessed it all.

Bottom line.  I transposed myself and clearly saw the opportunity to be there and place my wagers, I dropped the background, I didn't pay attention to the aura, I removed myself from being a player and hoping for a win.  My mind allowed myself to get into the shoe and my arms to stay outside to move my chips, kind of saying.  All of the player advantages and numerous identifiable events were there when I walked away.  I just could not grasp them and understand them in totality is all.

Maybe it is like something I learned back in college in psychology class.  Dad's reinforcement versus Mom's attempt at reinforcing.  Same thing, same goal for the kid.  To have their kid excel.  Mom yells and screams and threatens the kid, no toys, no movies, no ice cream, etc., until you do better (at whatever it is he has to do better at).  She says, "You have to".  Dad gives the movies, the ice cream, the new desired sneakers, etc., no matter what.  Dad says, "you do better, make me proud and those things are just for starts little buddy. There is a lot more when you show me that report card with all A's"!  So the kids focuses on what he has to do to get what he wants with Dad and actually applies himself 100%.  With Mom, he focuses on manipulating her to get a portion of what Dad gives him and realizes how is is going to really get what he wants.  We just work around the, 'You tell me what to do and control me--is wrong type of attitude', so I have no choice except to rebel the little kid subconsciously tells himself about his mom.  What would you do if you were the little kid?  Focus and do it the right way and get everything or scam, manipulate and get punished by dealing with Mom that has no idea how to pull smarts on little kids??  (could be reversed with Mom and Dad, but usually goes the way I laid it out).

So in baccarat, sit down and slam your chips on the event that you know is coming and it has because  of so-and-so?  Or, get into the shoe and wager along with it??  And, I am not talking about predicting the hand because  of so-and-so, etc

Again, Last Night!

Beautiful.  Clear mind, clear vision and complete controlled 'frame-of-mind'.

These are the things what I write about, sometimes I have them and sometimes don't.  But what happened the night before will change the way I play forever.  I was able to grasp the meaning and the points I have been writing about here just like I did the other night after I cashed out the first time.  For some of you--I wholeheartedly understand your 'shrugging the shoulders' type of response, but you know what-----I turned my 'unknown' from intangible to tangible because  of that one paragraph post that Mark did the other night.

Like a lot of things in life, it just takes a while, period.  Baccarat is a finite 'item', the way things happen, appear and form themselves--as well-- not happen, appear or form themselves.
But you have to be able to relate and correspond with the shoe presentments or you are entering into calm waters with a possible tidal wave lurking around the corner.  Best way I can describe it.

What happened last night is the following:

What I stay conscious of, think about or have learned.  (Nothing to do with bet-selection or wagering on an event to appear):

Understand the following:

Your limits ad the limits the shoe will present and you will be able to take advantage of as an opportunity.
The Game;
The psychological effects of gambling and  human nature in relation to winning or losing;
The positive progressions and wagering techniques that give you player's advantages;
The reality of what you are doing;
The change in probability of what will happen, appear and form (tough I know, but doable!);
The knowledge you have to remove yourself from the aura of the location as well as stay conscious of everything;

Do not put yourself in a lose-lose situation.....(probably the hardest thing to recognize and accomplish).

Great job!  Sounds like you are arriving at a point of being able to sustain being in the zone while playing.  But many can not get into this for a consistent or extended amount of time.  Very difficult.  Apart from all of the details and mechanics of play what are the thoughts and mindset your are focusing on?   I didn't really understand the difference that the following can make:

"Re: Random&streaks :how to beat and catch them?

Huge Difference.  Maybe Mark can chime in??  I will try to write some later, I have to finish the part of the details a bit about last night.  But last night had huge camaraderie in it for the best part, with the yelling and screaming.

I also have a huge job going on and a new supervisor on it today, so i am biting my nails in the office, hoping for the best.  If I go out there he will feel the pressure and he is on the interstate, not fun if you can't concentrate.

But, it is going from the wishful and intangible on the outside to a kind of tangible on the inside, for sake of explanation (in a way).

I am referring to the things that I wrote about in the post I did on 'player's advantage' and identifiable events, etc.

I have my entire skill set. I use it when I'm searching for what can only be described as a kind of convergence with a very best situation. Now, I don't sit around waiting year after year for the perfect long lasting "elegant pattern." But I can tell you this. I've played for years knowing that a kill-the-casino stretch would come up at least once in a ten hour session. When it happens all the stuff I went through to get there falls away. I know exactly what to do to hammer the casino. I also know when it comes to an end. My senses gain a kind of focus that is perfectly in tune with what is happening. There is this foundation of my skills still there but that's just paint. These times that are perfect are not just paint, they are the picture. When you see the full picture you know that the refined skills are just the tools, materials, and the canvas. I've said for years that the casino can't prevent these moments from happening. I've also said for years that it is almost 100% pure when it does happen. Yet I have experienced these moments when 80 to 95% pure was still good enough.

It goes from searching to finding. It's like knowing that someday a pattern will form in front of your face, one that you have never seen before, and yet you can see it for the first time. All the clues you use to establish bet selection falls to the side. The full reality of the perfect or near perfect situation takes over. The trick is to trust your experience, once again.

Now you should all know that I have moved on from that quest to find these forms of epiphany. I will still attack and hammer the casino if I inadvertently steer into a good patch like described above. But I'm no longer searching for the big game in the wilderness. I've found little flakes of gold in the stream bed of chaos. I still use situational awareness, just like a tool or a skill. But there are great things in very small places. It would be near impossible to do this if I had not first become fascinated by three hot numbers, randomness characteristics,  the global effect, sleepers, and singles.

(Again, "the way things happen, appear and form themselves--as well-- not happen, appear or form themselves".  And, being able to let yourself actually become part of the shoe, the period of time everything is aligned and forming or not forming the 'section' that is happening.  I am sorry--hat is all I can define in words at this time.  But it is definitely sideways from 'gut feelings', premonitions and 'going for it' type of play or aura, etc.)

I get it. I won't even bother to tell what strange things I've experienced that were not just reading randomness. I just see it as knowing. It all adds up to knowing it will occur and being ready for it.  :beer:

There it is from last night.  Bought in once, cashed out, saved a purple and went back and played and won some more.  Checked in the hotel after my host dropped off room keys (she checked me in without me asking cause it was near midnight and she knew I could not drive 90 miles.  I played a 2nd time and won again.  Cashed out and saved a purple.  Gave me friend $2k that lost, that will give it back next week.  Went to order some breakfast to take the room and snack, get a few hours sleep.  They did not have the hot food counter open in the food court cause the property was pretty light last night.  Was going to the room but seriously got pulled back to the table, one the Asians (the only one out of about 8 other ones that manage to win something, begged me to come back to the table).

Bought back in with the one purple chip and cashed out a third time, manage to snap a picture of the chips I put up on the cashier's counter, of the 10.5K I won off that one purple chip 3/4 of a shoe later at 2:00am.

The pit boss called the food arcade and they made me a pizza and I gave all but 2 slices to the Asian guy, he had a ways to drive and had to leave, so they boxed it for him.  I went to my room to get 3 hours sleep.  I wasn't going to count out the money, but the pizza was so hot I had to wait for it to cool down a bit.  So here it is.

Reality, 100%.  Pounce on it.  Seriously.  And I seldom go during the week.  3 dealers rotating on the table got $1,400.00, $1,200.00 and one got well over $1,400.00 in tips.  They get to keep their tips there.

My host comes out of her office and she is about my age and she is from the east coast as well.  Stuck in the Midwest with a bunch of reserved quite people.  LOL.  She was walking by when I had 3 wagers of $50.00 each on the F-7 out there and table max on the Banker.  Just before the dealer pulls the cards out, she sings a line from Frankie Smith's great song, Double Dutch Bus.  her hand dead in front of the shoe and says, "Get on the bus--pay your fare--and tell the driver your going to a double dutch affair--fee-fi-fo-fum".  Then she points to the table next to my F-7 bets and raps her index finger on the table at each one.  The pit boss yells over, "leave him alone and go do your job elsewhere".

So I throw up 2 red chips on each of the three wagers for the F-7 for the dealer.  The dealer is kind of heavy set, great lady, always smiles and never sweeps the losing bets off the table.  Frowns when we lose, etc.  So we finally get the hand going after a good 5 minutes horse play.  Players got 5 and banker has 2, she pulls a 5 of spades reducing the players to 0.  Now we needed that card and everyone frowns and a few cussing.  She pulls out the 3rd card for the bankers.  She flips it, another 5 of spades.  The dealer screams herself and the entire table breaks out yelling as others had some F-7 money up there as well.

Just banged it out, felt it and seen the cards making sense for so many hands prior to the larger wagers.  Did a few table max's, never lost one. Only wagers I lost is when I found myself, confused and getting greedy and being in the game to 'kill the casino' type of attitude and play, seriously!

Thanks very much for the updates!

How much are you focusing on baccarat shoe selection?
- Start of the shoe or certain number hands into a shoe?
- Looking for strong Bank/ Player bias?  Strong trending already?
- One table out of how many to select from?  I ask because many players at my house get lost/ overwhelmed because there are so many.

In the Midwest only 1 or 2 tables at most at the properties around me, not anything like the northeast, South Florinda, Connecticut and Vegas/Southern Cali.

Focus on exactly what the presentments are as I have explained, but I do pay more attention to the bead-plate than most other things on the board.

I do better, much better when i sit in it from the beginning.  I truly found the 'sections' as I have defined and showed examples of, etc.  Sections are the best and the only way to truly win, IMO.  Sections are and will produce more things that 'stick and repeat' themselves or form something--more than comparing say the 40th hand to the first ten or the events after previous events outside of the section.  To me, each shoe has 3 to 5 sections.

Do you bet on the bonuses a lot or do y prefer just betting b/p straight up?
