So I'm ahead out to Vegas over the summer and received nice suites with MGM resorts and since mlife got rid of xpress comps it's gotta be pain in the behind for you to figure out how much you are entitle to comps!! Has any one had good experience with MGM since they got rid of xpress comps? And just using/rely on casino host to take care of bills/hotel rooms etc?

I always liked CET over MGM, but that is personal.  CET was always more gracious with comps in Vegas than MGM.  I am Platinum with MGM and 7 Stars with CET.  CET was and is always easier to get comps than MGM.  I personally always use a host.  CET hosts can comp cross-property while MGM cannot, now MGM can set you up cross-property but cannot comp you at another property, etc.

My hosts have always offered me more and case-by-case by I usually decline.  I like the same level, suites, sometimes transportation, all food and beverage and room set-up incidentals, etc.  Sometimes some gift shop items, spa and other misc., for the wife.  But if I have huge play I don't take extra, not much anyway,  It makes up in the long room when I play and the play is light.  Always get some show tickets as well.

Most bac action is C.P., Bellagio, Mirage, MGM Grand, Venetian/P as far as mid strip.  There are others such as Aria and Cosmo, but spotty action I call it.  As far as the most Asian players and heavy attended tables would be The Plaza and The Gold Coast by leaps and bounds, but there limits are max'd at $5k not $10 to $25k like the mid strip.  Although with front money or CL that is over 75/100k you can get up to $10k a hand at Gold Coast and The Plaza

Played well over 36,951 shoes of baccarat since I started playing at B&M USA casinos.

Played numerous properties in Las Vegas, Reno, Southern California, Atlantic City, Connecticut, South Florida, The South/Southeast as well as most areas of The Midwest.

Baccarat, actually a mixture of Watergate, attacking the Gotti Family and the famous ear biting Tyson fight leading to disqualification and a near riot.  Bac has all that & more.

What's CET? U mean Ceasers palace? I am also platinum at MGM as well I wanted to in noir but my host said I don't lose enough lol..... I guess it's good thing...

CET means Caesar's Entertainment chain.  CP is Caesar's Palace.  Yes, I know about Noir and I have a couple of buddies that lost $250k at a whack and yes they are in it.

I have been gambling a long time, I don't play for comp's and fine with a regular butler floor (restricted access floor) suite.  My kids go with me most of the time and we always go so many places, the secret garden, the MB aquarium, the dune buggy thing out int he desert, all over---and gambling at night and then hanging out on Spring Mountain Road in the Asian places with the wife, I wouldn't use all the Noir stuff and villas anyway.  A few years ago I was like 10,000 points shy of Noir, but I cut way back on the MGM places and only kept playing at Mirage and the B, I barely maintain Platinum but my hosts override corporate if I fall off and then show up.  I need the card to skip lines and stuff at the cafes and restaurants, LOL.

My Mirage host told me they now rate only 1 hour per show of baccarat even if you play every hand and it takes 2 hours or more for one shoe.  He also said they have tightened up their comp abilities and not in the players favors.
