I will tell you something that the last Maybe five to seven times that i played the last few weeks I have done much better with a much greater profit by picking two or three of my Key triggers and cutting way down on the number of hands I wager which would be  between 8 and 20 per shoe Instead of 25 to 45 and I've got a tremendously higher win percentage of my bets and cash outs .

8-12 good wins to me are great, compared to 8-12 or even 16-24 or more trivial, mundane, min wagers.  It is just as hard to win a $2,500.00 wager as it is a $10 or a $25 wager.  The same exact thing has to happen, you have to prevail by one (1) point.

I have cut down in the total hands I wager by far, shoe by shoe as I said the past month or so.

Unlike so many here, I do not set a $300.00 or a $500.00 win goal.  To me, that is suicide and pressure I don't need in gambling.  I do well, at times much better than others.  And, those great times, I would have never ever got there--if, I had that $300.00 or $500.00 and then religiously stop promise with myself.  Don't get me wrong!  At times that is all I can or do win.  At times, I excel by far--point being, if I stopped or had a pre-set, there would never be anything else past the $300 or whatever it was.  And to me and from my experience, this is game is easy to win and easier to lose.  Interpret that last sentence anyway you like.

So, here is a sample from the other night when I was employing a strict 1-3-2-6 positive progression and then skimming anything over double my buy-in by applying my 1/3rd, 1/3rd, 1/3rd money management system.  I did some 1 +4 Side Parlay Wagers but lost those without getting to maturity on the 4th wager.

I did the following.  100-300-200-600; 200-600-400-1,200; 75-150-300-600; and the last one was 150-300-600-1,200.

When I completed my 3rd progression, I had right at $3,000 win money.  What I did was, add $1,000 to my buy-in which was $1,400.00, $1,000 in my left front pocket and that is my 'solemn will never be removed money' pocket space at the casino.  Then I put $1,000 in my rear pocket and that would be my reserve or re-buy in money if I lost my current buy-in, etc.  I seldom use that, but occasionally I will, especially being on a small run and then a real bad section comes and then everything does change with new players and great hands being produced that I relate to.  But like I said, I seldom these days re-buy in as so many people do, because in my experiences, history and everything else--all one does is lose, lose and lose, so I cut the highest amount of my losses--to my buy-in only and nothing more.  My initial buy-in if I did not win or add anything to it.  If I can't win on my initial buy-in, I am out for the day or multiple days.  Experience will teach that.  Some learn it and most do not.

Then what I did, was a quick calculation and said to myself (and 99.9% of the times) I will follow my promises made to myself such as these, that I would give myself 5 or so attempts to complete a positive progression of $375.00 with that chip stack I had in front of me.  Which was right around $2,600-$2,700 now.  $1,400 buy in still, a couple of hundred win I did not take out and the $1,000 I just added after pocketing the other $2,000.  I cashed out $2,000 out of the $3,000 I Mentioned.

I lost my first attempt, so I went down $375.  Then I lost a second attempt when right after I won one, so I lost $750.  On my third attempt (and not [NOT] wagering every hand] I completed a progression up to the six units wagering $375, so the final was a $2,250.00 wager.  I actually toned it down to $2k since it was a $2k max table, although we are allowed to wager on any and all other spots as long as someone is sitting there no matter if they are playing or not, I just didn't want to do that this time.  So, my persistence gave me another $4,200 or so and I think I had $1,475 left with the chips in front of me.  Subtract the $1,125 ($375 X 3) I lost in the last attempt, I should have gained right at $3,125 extra if I am adding that up right.  The last dealer was a champ and not a 200 pound statue taking up space on the dealer's chair, and he really feels the pain or the enjoyment with the players, so I tipped him a hundred.

I have found that less is more, the majority of the times.  Although this time I recalled from the other day had numerous other wagers, than some of my 8-12 or 10-14 bets a shoe, I much rather do this than a steady small amount for several shoes winning and losing 40-50 times in total, than what I actually wagered in total hands myself.
