Don't be an A$$

not trying to but making a statement that you need to know when to walk is crazy. no one knows. if you say you want to win 5 dollars and want to walk, ok i would believe that but no one knows when the losing streak will come....

last night for example. started out up 500, then lost probably 20-25 bets, and went to -3k. so, i guess i need to know when to walk right? hindsight would have saved me 3500. 500 i was up, the 3k i lost. but how would i know i would lost that many bets? im not a fortune teller and neither are you.....

i can't stand people who think they know when to walk, if it were only that easy

oh ya, one more thing....

baccman, are you dr. tom or one of his students or did you just hijack his photo? your avatar is the EXACT SAME ONE HE USES IN HIS EBAY AD!!!!! LOL

he always referred to himself as the BACCMAN. I would guess that it is you TOM....i do know that avatar of yours is the same one, so im right on that....

I'm not Dr Tom , I hi jacked it yes I frequent the Sands at times so I thought it would be appropriate.  Having a win goal per shoe is when I walk .....I have a number of units I need for the day and I break it down to a 3-5 per shoe this is not rocket science. ........it adds up at the end of the day take advantage of the sweet spot in the shoe then remove yourself the pendulum swings get out before it swings back you saw it happen in your shoe you told me about . 3-5 isn't hard to come by and where I play they have over 35 tables to choose from so no problem  walking, Borgata in AC has 3 tables there it's a different  story.

Two basic ways to decide when to stop a session are:
- Profit/ Loss versus how you typically average on a session.  For example, if your best play has usually resulted in a win of $150-$250 in a session and you find yourself up $400, then maybe it's time to stop for the day even though you are outperforming.  You could continue to go on a roll because you are playing progressions in a shoe you do well at or you may get slammed back soon.

- Time remaining left to play in a session.  For example, if your best play has usually resulted in a win of $150-$250 in a session and you find yourself up $50 with 30 minutes until more or less the time where you usually stop or have to stop soon, then maybe it's time to stop for the day.  You might score some in that short time frame, but a few losses can put you into the red and you won't have time or will have to extend your session quite a while to win back.

If a system usually generates 11-13 wins out of 20 bets and suddenly it is at 14-15+ then it very well be on the verge of having a rough go in the near term.
