All day every day every shoe we see streaks on each of the roads come to a halt.  This is a good example:

Bad case scenario on playing a jump on the Big Road or Derived Roads is that you play a jump on the max in a row reached, it breaks that, you play a jump on the break (max in a row + 1), it breaks that, AND THEN YOU REVERSE ON THE LONG BANK OR PLAYER AND IT JUMPS.  I did that twice last night, but fortunately other similar plays made up for it.

This is similar to rolling up on a table on a long Bank or Player Dragon with the HOPES of hopping on board only to have it jump that exact hand.
