I was playing next to a middle age guy last night. His bet is around $15k per hand. He bets smaller when he bets on Player.

He doesn't like to squeeze cards, so he lets others do it. And he was winning most of the hands.

So I asked him what does he look at for his bet selection?

His answer?

Go with the flow

If its BPBP ... he just continue buying the same BPBP

If its BBBBB .... just continue buying BBBB

If its BBPPBBPP .... just contiinue buying the same BBPP

Then when do you stop?

His answer ... till the streak ends or breaks

How do you know when the streak will start?

His answer ... you won't know. But it will be good to have something similar earlier.

He says baccarat is supposed to be very easy. There is no need to look at all the roads (big road, small road, etc). Just follow these three most common results pattern and you will be ok. Carry enough bankroll to last 30 hands. No parlay of any kind. Bet smaller for player and bigger on Banker. Walk away immediately when the trend ends.

Sounds like good baccarat advice.

Walk away immediate when a trend ends.  Fine if you are a local and playing larger money.  Doesn't make a bit of sense if your not.  Players go to play and win, which most of time takes longer than 10 hands or so.

Of course on this forum, most all say it is 100% random with no trends/bias'.  So here we go once again.

But of course my way of thinking. it is the same as a police office picking his place to sit and set up his radar.  Sometimes it's all the time, other times it is never and then there is always, might be there a quick min or two, all with no rhyme or reasoning you will ever find out.

I don't recall anybody saying that, some shoes have no trends, trends are subjective, when does anybody know it's a trend from the on-set, how many hands, how many hands does it need to continue for (after you notice it that is)?  Dramatize it as you see it, people here are on your back because you are use to not being questioned maybe!

Nothing  genius about the "masters" betting. Follow the  shoe  with that method is an old hat. It`s common  among   the choice  of bet selections for baccarat .Ditto EC Red or  Black at roulette. A non brainer.

If its BPBP ... he just continue buying the same BPBP  < I could show you more shoes were short runs of chops, up to four are more abundant than chops greater than four, even without looking I'm sure the two Zumma books might confirm this. Simple combination tables sure will prove, "that there are more ways for any perceived trend to not continue than to continue,

If its BBBBB .... just continue buying BBBB  < follow the streak, fine IF you are on it from the onset, won't disagree with that one, does this mean the bettor is playing FLD all the time?

If its BBPPBBPP .... just contiinue buying the same BBPP < he has already demonstrated 8 x repeating 2's, how often do you think this happens?  Apply same response to following chops

When you read baloney such as this, you would have to wonder why we aren't all millionaires, because 'some' make it sound sooooo easy, maybe you think I haven't tried or considered this approach in the last 14 years.!

Besides the fact that BBPPBBPP is one of the less likely outcomes the game will produce, per every "flow" caught profitably you'ìl have the same amount of negative "counter flow" happening.

Actually and providing some adjustments there's one piece of truth on this statement "But it will be good to have something similar earlier"

I agree with you .Go with the flow.  Trending.. is a good strategy... I wonder why there is a trend...... My answer is...NATURE works in mysterious ways... there are many things that scientist cannot explain. 

Its not for us to question how does it happen/work (trending) .... whether its true or not... I think the question is bet or not.    Bet TREND is the best option in betting... its aligned with NATURE. No explanation.... only OBSERVATION....

Playing with the flow is merely a way to play with no added advantage to that. If you chose to say play after PPP that another P will come next, you will win less than half times. Go against the streak or with it, that doesn't matter. You will get good, great and worst time with whatever bet selection you can choose on whatever logic you do have. Unless you know the art of surviving the worst and winning in below average cases, you have no hope to be positive in long run.

A trend means that if you are seeing many 3s, they are coming more than average. You bet that this tendancy will continue. This is a trend.
Also a No trend in a shoe IS a trend...
