'Strategy Without Proper Wagering     Execution Is The Same As Hallucinating!'

All too often when players sit down and probably being conservative---I would say, 95% of the time is spent wagering on the theory of strategy, while at best 5% is spent on the players actual execution.

Hold on, stop for a moment and ask yourself: Which is more difficult? Implementing your strategy or your execution of that strategy? It is without a doubt that your immediate response, at least for most, would be Execution!  And by definition of the word Execution here, I am talking about wagering on and according to your theorysystemor other belief and being correct.  While there are countless books that discuss the importance of creating and implementing a strategic plan to win at gambling, I dont think there are any out there that truly nail it on the head on how to execute it.  I think it is extremely difficult to understand the second half of what I just laid out.  Of course, all the theories, bells, whistles and promises of how much money you can and will make in the belief of knowing a system or suchis equivalent to foreplay with beautiful women doing anything you so desire!  But, in all realityif you place the utmost importance on execution, one will be on his way down a better road to produce extraordinary results.

A successful player today is in a constant state of adaption; they are seeking new ways to achieve strategic organizational change and by focusing their efforts on execution rather than strategy is one of those ways. However, authors, certain gambling board administrators and moderators will argue that the problem that players face is: Execution cannot be accomplished without strategic theory, which is really saying, when you understand the variance of the casinos edge you can combat that with strategy to win, beating them at their own game.  HOGWASH!   Often, it is because we, those people teaching and those people preaching gambling, believe for so many years, thinking strategically and understanding theory, variances and house edges is the way to riches and beating the casino.  They are simply attempting to tell you, understand what the casino knows and reverse it, use it in your favor and you will win.  However, we are not knowledgeable in the area of execution; therefore, making it difficult for us to implement anything and everything we are told, taught or learn.  Then there are the intangible human mind effects that play within us and continually throw curve balls to us without our knowledge and consciousness of what and how our own mind influences us at the table.  But the promises of everything those people drum into your head on just how to beat the casino, just overwhelms and overpowers what is really needed to turn the tables in your favor.

And to be a bit more specific, what exactly are the other things that will lead a player to proper wagering execution?  Mind-Frame and Frame-of-Mind, Influential People/Aura, Conflicts, Beliefs, Complete and absolute neutral consciousness, Resetting/Refreshing, Etc. It is actually everything except statistical data, past analyzations of trends and patterns, house edges and variances, theories and systems.  Once you have played long enough, lost enough money, gave back countless wins, etc., you will realize one daythat proper wagering execution is governed by the intangibles of what actually controls you rather than numbers, mathematical competence or anything along those lines whatsoever.  For the simple reason you can have shoe after shoe of the same type of results and why the winning or losing hands were caused.  Then again, you can have shoe after shoe of completely opposite results as to why the winning and losing hands were caused.  Or you can have a shoe with both type of results prevail.  There are no protocols or mathematical reasoning to discover as to when the hand formations will come about or stop in their presentment during the dealing of the game.

I am not well liked in many circles on the internet gambling message board front.  Why?  Because, I brutally tell it the way it is and I have never patted those in internet power and control on the back for their theories or systematic no experience neededeasy riches waiting type of stuff they sell and preach that are only ideas and theories with no solid execution except, when you hit XYZ stop lossstop.  Ludicrous to the max!   I have an honest 35 years or so playing experience in numerous gaming jurisdictions and when I am confronted by ignorance, blander, wise behind comments and similar things-I usually retreat.  I try not to engage in the banter back and forth and challenges, that is for kids and inexperienced want-to-bees, period.  You can have all the talk, discussion and understanding of variance, casino edges, holds and everything else that goes along with those.  But if you do not have proper application, expectations, clear and unbiased vision,  understanding of value, perfectly neutral mindset, knowledge of turning points, sections and everything else that goes along with thoseyou will lose everything you every attempt to win with.  Period.

It is simple, your losing trend will not change, not one bit.  The only thing you will do, is confuse yourself each time you are on the wrong side of the winning wager with just enough hope and stubbornness to continue because of those statements that were drummed into your head by the teachers of the holy-grail or similar worthless statistical data.   I modified the chart that follows, from many well-known MBA type of teachings.  It is not my invention or creation in anyway.  I am simply expanding on the chart because it fits perfectly into gambling, 100%!  You can learn, read, take seminars, and engage in all the systems variance and house edge discussions you want.  Learn them inside and out, but the bottom line is those will not help you execute winning wagering techniques and understanding of the game.  You can pay your money and think you are learning the holy-grail and you will beat the casino.  That is the mentality of the player and the gullible person that falls into that terrible rut of believing those people, the administrators and the internet so-called millionaires attempting to sell something or have you join their website for a monthly fee or a seminar price tag, etc.  What you will learn, walk away with and forever possess are worthless ideas that will cost you dearly.

In terms of value and of course value is everything to a gambler.  If there is no value there is definitely no substance, gain or meaning whatsoever.  That is, unless you are writing a fairy-tale book or something.  Because in baccarat, ideas which are all those theories, systems and reverse variances, etc., all rolled up into the word here, ideas and those ideas are just that, ideas.  They are not executions or more-so, how to execute baccarat wagering properly.

(Numbers shown are for exemplary purposes only)
With a bankroll of $1,000.00
Awful Idea  =   - $ 1,000.00
Weak Idea  =     - $ 750.00
So-So Idea  =     - $ 500.00
Good Idea  =      - $ 300.00
Great Idea  =      - $ 200.00
Brilliant Idea  =    $ 10.00

Now, with proper wagering execution the sky is the limit once you understand turning points and sections.  Because in baccarat, executions are everything.  You have to understand that ideas, theories and variances have no influence on your wagering.  Whatever their numbers, statistics and past existencemeans nothing with a current live shoe producing one winning hand and one losing hand as its main theme.

No Execution  =  $ 0.00
Weak Execution  =  + $ 750.00
So-So Execution  =  + $ 2,000.00
Good Execution  =   + $ 4,000.00
Great Execution  =   + $ 7,500.00
Brilliant Execution  =  + $ 15,000.00

Is there a book or a seminar that can outline in summation, quick formthe best wagering scenarios based on mechanical pre-scheduled and selected wagers?  Seriously?  Someone wrote a book showing anyone for the sum of $29.99 or $49.99 how to win the game of baccarat consistently by a pre-scheduled and selected method of wagering, that will win everywhere and anytime without any knowledge or thought to anything else in the game or what the game produces or governs it with the human mind?  Is there a book or a seminar that can teach you in a few hours how to win, consistently?  No way, never.  Why are people so gullible and I hate to say it, stupid (or better yet, lack of real intelligence).  Spend all the money you desire and waste all your time researching and studying with those preaching theories, strategies and so-called variances of mechanical systems, etc.  You are fueling your downfall, the loss of your own gambling funds.  However, if you truly desire to really win, you better find out about the proper execution of wagering and money management, those are the true basics and basis for gambling.

Discipline 1: Focus on your Mind-Set and Frame of Mind = The more you fill your plate, the less you will actually accomplish.  The more you study and remember statistics, patterns and trends, attempting to recognize them, etc., you will only be clouding your mind to the max!  Rather than focusing your efforts on worthless statistics and theories, take one big heaping and direct all of your attention and efforts towards opening your mind and setting your mind straight with the proper mind-set and frame of mind, then you will be leaps and bounds ahead of others.  Resetting and refreshing are vital when you are seriously dissecting what the shoe is presenting.  Stay away from attempting to change the shoe to your desires.

Discipline 2: Act on the Turning Points and Sections = If you take many actions, it is certain that only a few from the bunch are going to have a greater impact. Focus in on these particular actions; they are the ones you want to identify in order to reach your goal.   The highest majority of all shoe presentments will be most noticeable when the shoe is divided up into 3, 4 or 5 sections total.  I have written specifically about Turning Points and Sections in the past.  When you understand that there are continuous pertinent sections that always follow turning points, you will be putting yourself in a much better position at the table.  Simply, sections come and go.  If you believe that you can sit down at a table and look 60 some odd hands later at a trend and it upholds every time, that is a flukean abnormality.  It is more like it hit twice and cut three times and then switched up to, it hit three times and cut twice. But my point is, follow the shoe presentment when it is hitting something 8 out of 10 times or cutting to the opposite side 9 out of 10 times, etc.

Discipline 3: Keep a Compelling Scoreboard = In order to really get yourself engaged in what to be done, keep score. The highest level of performance always comes from people who are emotionally engaged and the highest level of engagement comes from knowing the score.  You truly have to feel the shoe presentment, not sit there, watch and take it all in.  When you do the latter, you allow yourself to be lost in the aura and the surroundings rather than the shoe itself.

Discipline 4: Create a Cadence of Accountability = This discipline is where execution really takes place. The three prior disciplines have set the stage, but until you apply this fourth discipline, you really are not doing anything. This discipline focuses in on the fact that unless we consistently hold each other accountable, the goal naturally disintegrates in the whirlwind. Make yourself have a purpose and know that if things dont get done, its on you.  Maintain this accountability through your play and hold yourself responsible.  Make yourself do something that you absolutely hate, but have to do anywaywhen you catch yourself blaming others or you violated any other section of your discipline.

Discipline 5:  Execute Positive Progression, 1-3-2-6s, 1 + 4 Side Parlays and Doubles =  1-3-2-6s is basically a forward positive progression whenever you wager starting with 1 unit, then 3 units risking 2 of your own if you lose, then 2 units-stacking the 4 units back if you are continuing and finally, 6 units.  For me, this is the best overall wagering progression if my results are mediocre or good.  Then comes what I call my 1 + 4 Side Parlay which will be on top of another wager usually.  Say I already won 21-3-2-6s.  I might take say $600.00 of the win money and set it aside for 3 chances at my 1 + 4 Side Parlay Wager.  That wager is where I usually couple along with a standard flat-bet but, I keep track of those 3 units split up.  Say I was wagering $300.00 flat-bet I might put another $200.00 along with that from my 3 units dedicated for the 1 + 4 Side Parlay.  If I won that wager, I would put $600.00 into my buy-in stack and put $400.00 to the side, waiting for my next opportune time to continue my 1 + 4 Side Parlay wager.  I would continue to wager that with the next wager being $400.00, then the 2nd parlay wager being $800.00, the 3rd parlay wager being $1,600.00 and the 4th and final parlay wager would be for $3,200.00.  Once or twice is limited as to my successful outcomes going to the 4th parlay.  However, when I have 3 or 4 chances when I start these, I am usually successful with at least one of them.  I also have to stress, I do not wager consecutively with the 1 + 4 Side Parlay wager.  Doubles is basically my flat-bet turned into a quick parlay for 2 times.  Say I wagered $250.00 for my first wager and won.  My next wager would be $500.00 and my following wager would be $1,000.00.  If I won my 2 quick parlays I would have a total of $1,750.00 win money from my couple of wagers.

Discipline 6:  Execute and adhere to a 1/3rd, 1/3rd, 1/3rd M.M. System = Whereas my winning benefits seem a little complicated, they really are not.  While I observe so many players just stacking it up and going for broke when they do win, that is not the way to play this game.  What I would do with that $1,750.00 from those 2 quick parlays above, I would divide that up into my money management system.  Probably something like $600.00 in my pocket which could not under any circumstances be touched.  Another $600.00 into my buy-in in front of me, or say for 3 chances for a 1 + 4 Side Parlay, and the remainder of the win money, $550.00into my other pocket for a reserved chance if everything goes wrong and I still desire another chance to buy-in once again. It works, believe me.

Discipline 7:  Fully understand Vision & Reality = You have to limit your vision and your reality to exactly that, what is in front of you as you are playing.  Stop with allowing your mind to wander down the shoe.  So many players allow themselves to be sitting in a chair at the table, wagering but their mind is 20 or 30 hands down the shoecounting on making up what they are losing or giving back.  The pressure, the vision and the cloudiness of what they inflict upon themselves is huge and it removes them from the reality of each hand.  More times than they make up their losses, they continue to lose.  Be totally involved, consumed and intowhat is happening with each current hand rather than comparing them all and painting a picture and believing that the shoe will produce what you have laid out.  Once you are able to be in the reality of the moment and what the shoe is producing, everything else will be right there.

Discipline 8:  Fully understand Expectations & Application = Simply read the 2 documents I wrote regarding these.  I have included information about execution related wagering unlike the normal documents about baccarat that all seem to hinge on, wager so and so and if that wins then continue on with so and so, etc.  When you play this game long enough you will realize anything and everything can happen with any shoe.

Discipline 9:  Adhere to Change through Recognition with diligence = Picking up where the last sentence left off, a player has to recognize that literally anything and everything can come about with no rhyme or reason.  And yet, at other times, all of it will be exactly the same pattern or trend as previously witnessed at the very same table.  I have seen more money over the years lost through the stubbornness and hard headedness of the player than caused by the presentment of the cards.  There is a difference and a very important one at that!  Please recognize the difference and you will be on your way to a much greater profitable result.

Discipline 10:  Stay clear of the 4-Cs =  If you observe and get into the mind-frame of Comparing, Calculating, Considering and attempting Conquest, you will be walking down the path of doom.  No two ways about it and it is actually one of the worst things you can put on to yourself.  All you do is stick yourself into the gloom of doom with the negative and not good for anything thought of those four Cs.  You mind will wander when you engage in any of them and put you somewhere you certainly do not want to be.

Think of The 10 Disciplines of Execution as your bible. Rather than the 10 commandments to follow, you have 10 Disciplines and one might argue that they are even easier to follow. It is evident that these disciplines are ones that have been there all along, but rarely do players pay attention to them as they are all wrapped up in their theories, systems, ideas and complicated statistics that usually causes them to lose. Most will argue, that by focusing our energy on these 10 simple disciplines they will not help a player win because they have no mathematical, statistical or scientific means of doing anything.  Cheap talk, lots of great internet drama, easy to say and pump themselves up on their message boards and many other things I rather not get into.  But these 10 Disciplines can transform you from being a strategy-based loser to an execution-based leader and truly seeing the results with your buy-ins and bankrolls.

Many successful and positive baccarat players will tell you, Strategy without proper wagering execution is the same as driving a car with your eyes closed!  And you know what, they are right.

Now, if you are understanding and possibly agreeing or at least saying, Hey wait a secondthis is really starting to make sense to me.  Then read on, because I will get further into the intangible explanation of what really happens in most case scenarios when a player sits down at the baccarat table.

You Cant Have Your Cake and Eat It Too.  An old saying that repeatedly comes to mind and is so very true!  The phrase so much resembles most all baccarat players.  The phrase is an idiomatic figure of speech which literally means, You cannot simultaneously retain you cake and also eat it.  Once the cake would have been eaten, it would be gone.  The proverbs meaning is also very similar to, You cant have it both ways, and You cant have the best of both worlds.  Which is what most players are attempting to do.  That is why their failure rate of consistently winning is so huge.  If you sit at the table and watch, watch and compare to the system, theory, pattern or trend you were taughtyou are eating your cake before you ever wager.  It is gone, you lost the chance before you even began.
Being successful, winningcoming out ahead, hinges on your mind-frame, frame-of-mind and your ability to have complete and open vision to see what the shoe is presenting, all the rest is secondary to that.  Taking it all in and then acting upon the data after your consumption of it all is not the proper way to be on the correct side of shoe presentment.  When you allow that to happenyou already will be past the point of being able to capitalize on much of anything.  In all essence you have already eaten the cake and you are attempting to have it also.

Most cats are just unrealistic. You can win over the long term if you have a thousands units backing your play. You can win if you are willing to accept a couple units profit per shoe. You can win if you are willing and able to handle regular down draw of 300 units down to worst case of little over 500 unit. It's just that simple, hey hey.
It's a grind, baby, but a profitable grind, hey hey.

It IS just that simple. You just stay out of back to back losses while doing all of the above. Those that argue that you can't stay out of back to back losses or perfect patterns that equivocate to back to back losses just have not figured out how simple it is to do what I am saying. I do what is suggested above and use my randomness charts to make choices. That causes the swing changes that end up with that small amount in the positive. That's all it takes. I chose 3 to 7 net wins as a simple win. It might take several sessions to reach 7 net wins. It does not matter. 3 to 7 net wins makes a long trip to a casino worth it.

If you are betting on 24 numbers, as many here know that that is what I do, you use $5 chips and 24 numbers adding up to $120 per bet. You win $60 with each net win. I'm talking about $180 to $420 as being enough from a $1,000+ bankroll. Self control and situational awareness is the key. Knowing when enough is enough to win all the time is my holy grail. I win every time I practice a session. It may take several hundred spins, very rare, but I win. It's my goal. There is such a thing as a perfect storm of negative events. You will have a perfect losing streak that occurs. You must win the day. You don't have to win the session. Randomness changes all the time. Only the perfect losing streak can beat you. You don't have to force yourself to keep betting. If you play 100's of sessions you will see that it takes 3 to 20 spins to get 3 net wins. So that is what normal is. So expect the fringe, beyond normal, to occur. Have a plan that is your plan, based on your playing experience, to base what is normal and what is extreme. Don't go to a casino until you have a solid foundation of experience.

Now, this gambling forum is no longer necessary. You have the Holy Grail if you make this your own.

It's only a perfect losing streak if you keep placing bets and feeding it. It's not a losing streak if you stay out of it. You can stop losing and you can stop when you have enough. (sometimes)  8)

My 1/3rd, 1/3rd, 1/3rd Money Management System is a 100% guaranteed 'hold' of a certain amount of your win money--if you won.  If you have the willpower and the knoweldge to stop at the point that 1/3rd of your win is lost, you can leave the casino guwareenteed a winner with your buy-in as well.

It is the players fault for failing to have any kind of system in place to hold and stop.

Not maybe, not probably, but 100% my system works.

The only thing worse than the pikers over at the Dark Wizard's forum who like to scour Vegas for slot machines with edge due to some imaginary technical glitch that will produce win are some of the seven year old's here.

Baccarat has many ways to play, and there is so much right there to be had if we can manage to take it.  At my house a see some very experienced players at a lower level of play stakes wise than the past, and many that have been grinding it out there day in and day out playing at much, much bigger levels now.  There is a lot to the game.

Baccarat has many ways to play, and there is so much right there to be had if we can manage to take it.  At my house a see some very experienced players at a lower level of play stakes wise than the past, and many that have been grinding it out there day in and day out playing at much, much bigger levels now.  There is a lot to the game.

And it is all in the presentment and the interpretation of it from each of our experiences.  There is a very common thing in baccarat most players don't grasp or most players fail to realize for some reason.  That is, the same thing cannot and will not win on a repetitive and consistent basis.  Their losses in most cases are derived from some form of what I just laid out.  The problem, IMO, is that the common man is to stubborn and hardheaded to admit and understand he cannot set anything that will always or even the majority of the times prevail.  The minority of times that it does prevail, only fuels his brain cells into huge celebratory events that pan out as failure at the majority of his gambling sessions, but like I said--those times fuel his drive and beliefs and his funds are happily turned over to the casino for the chance they offer him called, 'failure waiting'.
