Are you influenced by other players?  Why or why not?  Good, Bad, Ugly?  Winning is winning.

I more frequently am influenced by other players that are proving to be doing well as a discretionary overlay to my approach.  In addition, there are times where the entire field is on one side, not apparent really why, and they hit.  And I'm not speaking about big dragons or other clear patterns on the Bead Plate or Big Road... It's very easy to be last bet on the table.

Is it best to show respect by saying something like 'I'm having some trouble here and do you mind if I play along?'?
