Plateaus and your recognition and consciousness of what yours are--IMO, are vitally important to your stopping with confidence and conviction or continuing with winning. Because plateaus are seldom reached and when a player does, that is the time to walk on eggs shells and pounce on it if your winning plateau was reached.

To me, the 5 most important tactics, to be aware of and in your fore front of gambling are: Sections, Turning Points, Positive Progressions, Your Plateaus and 1/3rd money management system.

What is so important about your plateaus--is likened to situational awareness in a sense.  Once you realize what yours are--you will be able to place yourself in more opportune times than not knowing and then ultimately be able to deal with them much better! To me, once I win or lose a certain amount--I become quite conscious of the present trend and how to deal with it. No matter if that trend of winning or losing just came, is presently there or coming up.

When you reach your plateaus and you remain with conscious thought of it--they can assist you greater than an owners manual when you are putting together a completely knocked down product with a hundred or so pieces.

But, so many will not take the time to really discover their plateaus and substitute a continual draw-down or random chip stacking when it is concerning positive wins--only to eventually give it all back plus their buy-in trying to recoup what they just realized.  For those players were possibly already at their plateaus but had no conscious knowledge of it or anything to compare their instant events they just went through with.

Important, believe it or not, things like these will fuel you 100 X's more than reading a book about placing a scheduled wager in mechanical belief every time the necessary event presents itself for your hopeful '1 unit' win.
