I can't believe it, but I do

Friday night at the casino.  There was a dead shoe with a busy table.  Meaning, no one could really win.  The kind of shoe where you win a few, lose a few.  Then one of the new players would announce something 'off-the-wall' and he would win and then press and win again.  So everyone would follow him and then he would naturally lose.  Then the regular players would converse and win one and then lose one.  The win and lose.  Everyone either against each other or with each other.  With the shoe or against it.  Everything would not pan out.  Shoe took a good two hours.  Then there was a pretty good shoe with everything strong, whether repeating or cutting, the entire shoe strong, no Fortune 7's.  Then the following shoe was also strong for about 1/2 and then extremely weak.  No Fortune 7's up to hand 60 something.  Everyone was wagering $20-$25 or max of $50 on the F-7 most every hand.  Nothing like I said up to hand 60.  Most people ceased the F-7 wagering, then it came out.

One of the regular players who always loses and I mean always announces at hand 74 the F-7 will hit again and he feels it.  He said it was a true gut feeling and he promised verbally to everyone it would hit.  I did pretty good on the last shoe and thought I couple really stack it up on the current shoe--but it did not pan out.  I gave back a good portion of the win and the game was dragging real bad, another 2 hour plus shoe.

So everyone was heavy on the F-7, but I said no way, I would not wager it the rest of the shoe.  Hand 76 came and just about everyone was $50 plus a nickel for the dealer.  Hand 76 brought 2 monkeys for the Players and a 2 for the Banker.  Then the player pulls a 6 and the Banker pulls a 4.  Everyone lost their F-7 wager once again.  Then hand 77 was upcoming and the guy once again announces 'Hand 77' the Banker has to prevail with a F-7 win.  I said no way, wishful thinking.  The guy really doesn't announce what he thinks most of the time, but this time he did.  Hand 77 and it was the last hand of the shoe, Players showed a 3 and Bankers showed a 1.  Players pulled a monkey and I knew the Bankers would also and wound up with a repeating tie.  The dealer who sat down about 2 or 3 hands ago is one of the more friendly dealers and visibly pro-player rather pro-casino.  He felt the pressure and when he went for the Bankers 3rd card there was total screaming at the table.  Everyone yelling for a 6.  He looks at all of them and flops it quickly and it was a darn 6.  I could not believe it but I knew that 'I told you so' was coming.  I could not believe it was the 77th hand.

The next shoe I could not do anything, I won and lost, nothing would stick.  Players kept repeating buying in with additional buy-in's.  No one playing together, lots of belief's and superstitions once again.
I called it a night.  My casino friend that is a pretty solid player usually brings $8k, buys in with $500 or $1k at a time and if he is down about $4k maybe $5k he usually leaves.  He was in $6k if not $7k and finally got just about even.  I told him clearly to leave, I know this regime and what happens darn near 100% of the time when the night went the way it did.  I left and I called him in the morning.  He told me he lost it all, all $8k in the following few shoes.

I knew most of the players, say about 7 out of 10 that played those 4 shoes or so.  I know most of their walk away win levels.  I know how much most bring and buy-in for.  None of them reached their win amount and just kept after it and after it.  Their past wins definitely motivate them, I know that 100%.  But it was so clear and no one could realize it how the night was going.  Each buy-in brought each player closer to even but not quite and then the losses.  It is hard to see at the table, real hard.  Easy to say on the board here and outside the casino what you will do---but at the table is a whole other picture and belief by the highest majority of players.

Like I said, I can't believe it but I do.

Since we cannot Edit, it sucks.  But what I meant on the 77th hand in the above post was I was certain the Bankers would probably pull a 2 for the 3rd card and tie once again.

Not being able to Edit is really bothersome and aggravating here!

I generally do not keep the cards.  I might be able to recreate the one strong shoe and the one with the 2 F-7's from hand 50 to 77?  They won't be exact but pretty close.  Up to you if you want.

The first shoe with the dead shoe and the last shoe, I will not be able to even come close.
