hi guys I wonder what do you guys do if you lost flat bet like 5 hands in a row ?

Example , you have 100 units = your bank roll

you want 5 unit per trip to casino or per day ( for online player)

if you have a bad day and then you lose 5 consecutive hands  so you down to 95 unit  , will you go 2 unit next until
you recover ?

just what to hear your thought . I will start my play by the end of this month  so kind of what to read some useful suggestion before :)

IMO, it all depends on the characteristics of the shoe at hand.  How the shoe is producing each winning result.  If I lose several flat bets, I might try to recoup with one or two larger ones, say I lost 5--$25 wagers.  I might try a $75 and a $50 one to recoup.  Or, 1 $125 wager.  I would attempt those larger wagers when I felt the shoe was strong with bias, either with or against it, etc.

Or, if things are so unpredictable and everything I am doing is wrong---and I still desire to stay, I would remain flat betting and attempt to win back the amount I lost each and every time I wager.

Last night at the casino was an example of this.  I could not win for anything.  I got down to about 25% of my buy-in due to straight losses.  I climbed back up with a reversal.  When I got a tad bit ahead, I would only risk the win money on higher than flat betting wagers at that point.

If I am not in Vegas/A.C., etc., and I am in the Midwest near my home, I will risk my buy-in.  I play my buy-in no matter what.  My buy-in is part but not my bank roll total.  When I am out of town to Vegas or AC I will have my bank roll divided up for each day or session, etc.  As far as a stop loss, I do not have one to stop if I have any of my buy-in remaining.  I might adjust my wagering, but I do not stop as a general protocol.

There is no need to bring funds that you are not going to gamble with.  Personally, I cut out the stop loss and the temptation and figuring out what I have left in front of me I can gamble with.  I merge my 1/3rd-1/3rd-1/3rd money management system and when my buy-in and playable chip stack in front of me is gone, I stop.  Then I have my locked up money and my reserve left for further play or cashing out.  Once I figured all this out, I became a much better and more successful player.

I would have a realistic stop loss. If you say are happy winning 5 units then don't lose more than 10 units. So, to RECOVER, what do you do? Well this sounds like chasing to me. I would forget the loss, and carry on next time trying to win, because if you focus on losses, you will end up chasing and chasing leads to bigger losses. Don't increase flat stake too much too soon, play for the longer term. If you are on holiday and will only visit a casino a few times, then use a good strategy and try to develop a good stop loss and trigger to play again rule within that system.

I don't know how you are playing therefore I can't comment further.
