Ran over to the local Indian casino tonight after a meeting in Fort Myers.   I usually do this as the meeting is halfway to the casino anyway, so I may as well use the time to get there for a bit.

EVERY baccarat table was full.  Not just full, but standers at most spots.

Low limit.  High limit.  Chock full of chain smoking players.  Most of the high limit players were eating prime rib at the table.  (I just don't get that at all).

Anyway, I was shut out.  Could not get on ANY table and after a half hour, I headed home.

There was an unopened low limit table ($10-$2500) but they wouldn't open it for me in spite of the people all standing at the one next to it.

Oh well, there's always online tonight.

Maybe you were just lucky, not getting a chance to lose?  ;)

I've ate at the table, yup not the best, but manageable with a slow table and yer only betting say one in four hands.  How many players were stirring at the score board desperately seeking divine inspiration?

A shoe certainly has characteristics (no disputing that 'choppy v's streaky'), used as an aid to gauge which side will win next, hilarious!

My booger came loose once and fell into the plate of someone sitting eating at the table.  I guess he didn't notice.  Said it was good.

Nah.  Went home and played online to make my +5 for the night.  Had an excellent connection for that time of the night which was unusual.

What site do you play on?  I play on 5dimes.  Did two deposit of $200 each time.  Never got a chance to withdraw since I loss.  Had trouble with delays causing me to over/under bet.  1/3 of the time you only have about 2-3 seconds to bet because of delays.

I play at BetPhoenix.   Not BetPhoenixCasino, but BetPhoenix dot ag

If the video/audio is lagging, I don't play.  If it appears the server is slow or not taking the wagers in a timely manner, I leave.  They will there tomorrow so there's no need to play under less than optimal conditions.

I've never quite warmed up to 5 Dimes, mainly because there is no pressing need for me to build an account there, but if I get some free time, I'll check them out again.

Not normally but I'm thinking something else must have been going on.  Lots of big giveaways this month and I think they were handing out $1000 every 15 minutes or something.  I kept hearing it on the PA system.

The reason I go on Thursday night, besides the meeting, is because it's generally pretty slow after 9pm or so.

Shows what I know.

The Everglades sure has grown.  Oh lord, I remember when I grew up in South Florida.  Alligator Alley was only the original 2 lane, non-divided highway smack across the middle of the Everglades.  Not travelled very heavily.  2 Small tool booths, I think the toll was .50 back then???  Now I know there is a huge cloverleaf at Highway 27 and the east end of Alligator Alley and a huge toll plaza with offices.  Back then we always used to see at least one alligator out on the road and also a rattlesnake or two.

Miccosukee Indian Tribe, the sister tribe of the Seminoles had an arts and crafts exhibit, an air boat ride and the famous alligator wrestling show a few time a day out on Tamiami Trail across the other portion of the Everglades.

Seminole was only a Bingo Hall with an arts and crafts Teepee and a cigarette stand set-up in an old mobile home where their casino is now, the smaller one that is just south of the larger one, Hard Rock on 441 north of Sterling Road.

I remember working for a towing service in Miami, must of been right before the McDuffie riots in Liberty City, Miami area.  I remember going out onto Alligator Alley with a wrecker, one of the bosses friends blew out his front end coming back from Naples to Miami on Alligator Alley and the next day the boss sends me.  I get out there, probably half way out the alley.  I position my wrecker off to the north side and get the cable out and a chain.  I spot these eyes from a gator about 30 or 40 feet out.  The car is sitting just into the marshy area about 10 feet off the grass beside the road way. I jump up on the hood of the car with a chain and hook in one hand and the cable from the winch in the other.  I am laying on my stomach on the hood of the car and turn and look at those eyes.  Now there are two pairs of them watching me. I am freaked out!

I would not get off the hood of the car to hook it up the way we always did.  Which meant to squat on the ground under the front end of the car and hook it up, etc.  I could not reach under the car while laying on top of the hood.  I tired every which way.  I finally gave up and jumped back off and ran back to the truck.  I went back to Miami and told the boss that I could not winch it up on the roadway, he needed to send one of the big wreckers.  He had a fit!  I will never forget that.
