I have written about the 1+4 Parlay Side Wager I started employing in much of my play at Baccarat.  It has been pretty good to me.  I use it strictly as a 'side wager' and usually in conjunction with my main/regular wagering.  I do not use it for F-7's or Pandas and FYI, I seldom wager for a tie.  But like I said, strictly as a side wager.

Why do I do that, because lots of play and our decisions in baccarat are caused by physiological reasoning within each of us and how-why we believe in what we do.  So with my 1+4 Parlay as a side wager I do believe I have a better than 50% chance most of the times to get to my goal on each one of the 5th win or the 4th Parlay, etc.

I also always do it with the first unit being 'win' money from a B or P wager.  Might be $50.00, might be $100, might be $250, etc.  Last night I was playing for a couple of shoes.  I won a few bets and put aside $200.00 for my 1+4 Parlay wager and convinced myself I should give it 2 shots.  So during the course of that shoe I tried with the first one.  I got to the 3rd wager, the 2nd parlay and lost it.  Now, bear in mind, I DO NOT place this 'side-wager' each hand or even consecutive hands.  It sits and sits and when my gut is right and there really is something I like, I will merge it along with my regular wager.

On my second attempt I waited to the next shoe and in the first 10 tens I placed the side-wager twice and won both wagers with that and my other regular wagering.  At times, I will take my 1 or 2 units out of the first couple or few wins just to stay physiologically 'ahead' and have that feeling, I have more ammunition and chances, etc., etc.   But I did not last night.  So in the first ten hands I won the first one of $100 and then won the second one of $200.  I placed the 3rd wager, which would be the 2nd parlay of the $400.  I won that one and it was right in the middle of the longest run of the couple shoes I played, it was on the 5th or 6th Banker out of a streak of 10 plus some ties.  I waited to place the next wager with it of the $800 which would be the 3rd parlay after the shoe went weak, the Player followed with about 5 repeats and than it went to chop and doubles started.  I shoved it up on a second line double after it made 2 players immediately followed by 2 bankers.  Then a single player and I wagered $400.00 regular bet and my $800.00 1+4 Parlay wager.  The second player for a double was made.

I was going to stop and take the $1600.00 (all profit, nothing from my buy-in) as well as the $1,500 or so I was already up on my regular main buy-in.  But I said, no.  I waited and waited and slowed down on my regular wagering as well.  Everyone was winning and everyone turned to losses, straight losses no matter what they did.  I left my chips at the table and walked away.  Went to the food court and got an ice cream.  Made some phone calls and walked backed.  The shoe was about 30 hands advanced now.  The shoe started to get strong about hand 60 and in the mid 70's fizzled out.  1's and 2's.  Almost at the end there was a double.  I threw $250.00 plus the $1,600 up on the cut for a single Bank.  And it happened with a 7 over a 6.

Somehow I can control my 1+4 Parlay side wager easier than my buy-in regular funds as it is a side goal and nothing to stay in the action with, if you can understand what I am trying to express.

THE PURPOSE OF GAMING IS TO WIN!

"Don't say it's a winning hand until you are getting paid for it".

Played numerous properties in Las Vegas, Reno, Southern California, Atlantic City, Connecticut, South Florida, The South/Southeast as well as most areas of The Midwest.

Baccarat, actually a mixture of Watergate, attacking the Gotti Family and the famous ear biting Tyson fight leading to disqualification and a near riot.  Bac has all that & more.
