The downfall and coldness of winning at Baccarat

The coldness and reality of baccarat gambling, it's extremely dangerous when you win. Many people don't realize that and many people never ever will. I remember years back in Atlantic City the old Bally's Grand one of the regular players he wins large.  I don't remember exactly the number, but right at the high $200,000 low $300,000 range in a couple shoes of baccarat and he demands an increase in table limits which were at the time and pretty much always $100 minimum to $10,000 maximum per hand. Right there in the high limit pit making a scene, yelling and screaming at the Host and the casino manager right in front of everybody with his hands on his hips, I see it very visually to this day and that was a long time ago.  It happens and it happens all the time. He wanted limits around $20k to $25,000 maximum per hand. He has the same host as I did for many many years and the same management was there for couple decades. It was a Alantic city not Vegas, and little bit smaller high-limit rooms and we basically all knew each other. We were all regular players from north New Jersey or from New York City  or Long Island, so we were pretty close and we all knew each other story at least 18 or 19 out of 20 players did. They refused him and many others that won, told him he's got to remain at the same limits and I know from experience the only way they raise those $10,000 limits was with cash front money of approximately $150,000 to $250,000 range on deposit with your own money, not win money and then you got up to $25,000 per hand that's the way Alantic City was since the 80s to the mid-2000s. This was the days before 2000 that all there was in the high-limit rooms, was the big 14 player tables with the three dealers where the players dealt the cards, that type.  Before  the midi Macau style tables became so popular in the casino, due to the casino realizing it as a way to speed up the games  and run through the players in the much larger quicker fashion, than what they used to do. Long story short is he went next door to the Trop and he lost it all within 2 days, yes they deposited the money and they gave him $25,000 per hand and he lost it all and tried to chase it back and he was right back down to his normal self.

Basically failing yourself at the casino, with your money and your life happens all the time not just with gambling but any successful business that the cash comes in fast and hard and large. The people that win larger amounts of money compared to their level and Plateau that they normally experience and play at. The most common downfall is failing to 'reset and refresh' continually.  Some will relabel this as goals and stop points but psychologically and for the sake of satisfying yourself, if you do you will eventually hurt yourself.  It is a step further than  goals  and desires  and stop points, that you try to convince yourself of, it's a bit north of that. You have to truly reset and refresh yourself and your play continuously, if you don't you are doomed from the very beginning no matter if they're wins or losses.

Locally where I play, there were two players that won $50,000 and over $60,000 each in a couple of shoes and the same thing happened to them. They sat there and they continue to play and they play outside their level, their knowledge and their plateaus, and that was their mistakes. They all have a common failure and that is no money management system or a failing money management system.  I proved that with my own loss of $15,000 a couple Friday nights ago. It happens, it happens to the most experienced players and it repeatedly and commonly happens to all the ones that have never won any kind of money and then when they do, their play and thinking turns disastrous and how they treat the money they won.  It is how they think, how they wager, how long they play, and what their desires turn to.

Baccarat can suit you well and be your best friend or can be your life destroying enemy.

Baccarat, actually a mixture of Watergate, attacking the Gotti Family and the famous ear biting Tyson fight leading to disqualification and a near riot.  Bac has all that & more.
