So much misnomer.  So much fallacy.  Wishes and bright ideas of "I can gamble for a great, easy, comfortable and fun living playing baccarat at casinos".  There is nothing further from the truth!  At least to the point of including the words, 'great-easy-comfortable and fun' within it, that is.

First, I am one person that always had a job, a career and/or a business.  I have gambled pretty steady, at times a lot heavier all over the country and at times limiting myself to a local region, but nonetheless steady since around 1980.  I wholeheartedly believe, without a second thought, a job or other source of steady income is so pertinent, there is no negotiating on the subject.

Sure there are pros.  Pros mean what?  That they have no other source of income?  They have no jobs or businesses?  No careers with a paycheck every week or every other week outside of gambling at a casino?  Is that what a pro is?

Maybe a pro is a person that worked hard for many years and saved his money and made the right investments and produced himself a revenue stream that he can still pull from for life's necessities, etc., while playing at casinos worrying only about his bankroll and gambling performance with no other stress and worries?  Just maybe huh, kind of like being semi-retired but having the funds to continually play at a casino and only replenish the bank roll with wins and never ever taking away from it.

Being a pro as being anything else, such as a lawyer, a doctor, a business owner, an engineer, etc., takes wisdom, knowledge and wherewithal.  The last trait to me is just thrown in there for a catch-all, LOL.  But it really does take all 3 to be anything more than a common laborer, a hamburger slinger, a city parking ticket writer, etc., etc., and so on.  Their knowledge is deep-real deep about their chosen field.  Their wisdom is enormous.  Wisdom is knowing the route to take when problems surface and you face difficult decisions--choosing the right decision over the wrong one will be second nature, almost every single time.  To me, wisdom is defiantly greater than knowledge but you can't be successful or have a career worth anything if you are not knowledgeable as well. And merely looking at something once or twice or reading about it, will not instill the level of knowledge into yourself that you actually need to be classically titled a pro, never mind a successful pro which would be a whole other higher level yet.

Emotional excellence, superb performance and superior knowledge.  All three must be secondary and be ingrained into you.  There is no compromising on that, none whatsoever.  You cannot have any irrational impulses and if you have them--you will fail as a pro gambler, especially if you don't have anything else to fall back on or grab additional bank rolls from.  Maybe you should re-think things and hold the title of occasional or expert player that plays 'non pro'?  You think sitting there playing with part of your bankroll or your whole bank roll with no other real job, career or business that produces a regular paycheck/funds is not emotionally mind bending and fatiguing?

While we are on the subject of bank rolls.  As a pro you can not touch your bankroll for anything but gambling, nothing.  Not for life necessities.  Oh yeah, what happens when you lose--even pros lose.  Most recoup from their sponsors or their own businesses and just stroke on.  What are you going to do?

Where do these posts come from?  "I will gamble for a living", etc., etc.  If you extract funds from your bank roll or you cannot replenish that bank roll because you lost a few sessions, you will go broke a lot quicker than it took you to go pro, no exceptions, none.

Played well over 36,951 shoes of baccarat since I started playing at B&M USA casinos.

THE PURPOSE OF GAMING IS TO WIN!

"Don't say it's a winning hand until you are getting paid for it".

Played numerous properties in Las Vegas, Reno, Southern California, Atlantic City, Connecticut, South Florida, The South/Southeast as well as most areas of The Midwest.

Baccarat, actually a mixture of Watergate, attacking the Gotti Family and the famous ear biting Tyson fight leading to disqualification and a near riot.  Bac has all that & more.
