What is the problem with wagering for something and a very limited number of something? 

Well, the problem is that you will never know the exact composition of the shoe you are sitting down at.  So instead of attempting to guess the composition of the shoe that will be presenting its hands with the produced composition, you will be relying on trying to match yours that you are already hell-bent on wagering to it. 

Fine, here is where so many will argue.  Saying, you are going to guess as well and all I am doing, is placing a wager I want to no matter what and I am not going to attempt to figure the shoe out or play with it as you say, etc. 

While I can understand the logic of those that will wager religiously on bet placement, systems, pre-decided wagers no matter what and they are going to wager them regardless of what the shoe is producing, they are no better and often worse than one sided betting because of the following:

Bet placement or systems (whatever you wish to call it) gives the player a total false illusion of control and he has the holy-grail finally.  When the shoe is consistent with what the chosen pattern or results, etc., they will win--of course.  When it is not, they lose.  Follow so far?  Still agree?? I seriously think you have to, thus far.  Taking the fact that almost none leave when they win and fewer leave right away when they lose, their way becomes worse financially because of the following:

Okay, here it is.  When the player becomes out of harmony and he is no longer saying/yelling, 'yes I am correct once again', he generally and the highest percentage of the times becomes brutally-hard headed and stubborn and he is 110% convinced within his own mind that the present streak of 15 Bankers or the fantastic 17 chop-chop that just happened was not supposed to happen and he lost a huge amount of cash by plunging harder and harder into his bet placement or system, etc.  As if that was not insult enough, what happened there is this.  He missed the simple, very visible and actual production of an easy to follow situation where he could have easily benefited rather than sticking to the bet placement or system that was not happening. 

And the last paragraph contains the 2 results and reasons that haunted that person with their system, bet placement, etc., plan.
