I am sorry and I might just get a few kind of mad and blown away, with the statement I am about to make.  But I feel a certain way due to my experience and time playing.  And those feeling are what I write about, not possibilities and not wishful thinking based on projections.

In a B&M casino (I have no idea about desktop gambling on-line and don't comment on it but have insight from discussions with on-line site owners) Stop Loss and Stop Win is almost never employed with any kind of consistency whatsoever.  It is a complete waste of time to set those limits and all they do, IMO is mess with your head for the worst, for the negative effect almost all the time anyway.

First of all, if you have a 3 unit stop loss and you are playing with a min of $25.00 wagers, then there is no reason in the world to buy-in with $300.00 or $500.00, etc.  None.  Buy-in with $100.00 max.  That is gone, you are done if you are going to stick to your so called 3 unit loss.  If you are counting a 3 unit loss as, per shoe or per table, etc., then it is really not a 3 unit loss, it is a loss per session of 9 or 12 or 15 or whatever.  But I just don't see how anyone can say a certain amount of loss.  I think a much smarter and much more productive way to control your losses is risking your buy-in.  Separate from any bank roll or playing capital you might have, I am referring to the money you are bringing to the casino and risking that session.  Reason being, you have to cater to your mind's phycology and easing the rough hands until something comes around you can capitalize on.  A strict stop loss with less than your buy-in  just complicates your mind frame and you are concentrating on that more than the game itself, IMO and from what I see all the time.

As far as a Stop Win, I think that is the most ridiculous and asinine thing I have ever heard on the boards here!  Why in tarnation would you want to limit yourself with winning?  Because you might lose?  Because you know 100% you cannot win more?  Because you say, you can only win for a trivial amount of hands and then quit.  If those are your reasons, then you are once again in the wrong mind frame and you are limiting yourself from jump street of any real positive possibilities for the session you are sitting down at.

Employing a system or a set wagering protocol will only allow you to win sometimes (a little) and loose a lot.  There is nothing your system or protocol and excel at if you are employing a stop loss or a stop win.  Your losses will be far in excess of your wins, maybe not that week but overall in the undefinable 'long run' they 100% will be, each and every person's experience.

But don't confuse what I am saying if you are employing something like, 'I will wager 3 or 5 wagers when I see something that is favorable to my dedicated key triggers', type of wagering.  If you are 100% disciplined, not playing numerous hands and shoes, and you are strictly there at a B&M casino, each and every day and you are wagering on such a trivial amount of hands and are disciplined beyond any doubt and influence--you have a chance for some success.  Other than that, no way, no possible physical way with a set of protocols of wagering and stop wins.

Any player that has had any kind if success at all, has a money management system (not wagering system or betting protocol) that will allow him to continue only to wager a portion of his winnings while increasing his buy-in, hold and locked up money without risk of gambling further that session.  If you fail to employ something along those lines, you will give back all of your winnings and most likely to follow will be your buy-in and whatever other capital you have available to continue your quest to smack or cripple the casino.

Played well over 36,311 shoes of baccarat since I started playing at B&M USA casinos.

THE PURPOSE OF GAMING IS TO WIN!

"Don't say it's a winning hand until you are getting paid for it".

Played numerous properties in Las Vegas, Reno, Southern California, Atlantic City, Connecticut, South Florida, The South/Southeast as well as most areas of The Midwest.

Baccarat, actually a mixture of Watergate, attacking the Gotti Family and the famous ear biting Tyson fight leading to disqualification and a near riot.  Bac has all that & more.
