Hi guys ,

Fast question. .... what was the longest absence of a TIE coming out?
For me it would be 86

Was just wondering ^^
Cheers

1.5 shoes of an 8 deck game, approx 110 hands, then there were loads, but I couldn't bring myself to bet on them, other players made a killing.

Ties many times occur in one of the first 4 hands of a new shoe.  Also, if there are at least 12 ties in a shoe, bet the last hand to be a tie.

I ask coz my wife play tie if it's absent for 40 hands with a long progression. Well she's Asian... ::)

For what it's worth she never lost with that though  :o

As per my theory, it has to be approx 130-150 as virtual limits but there can be no actual limit of it showing with any kind of guarantee. A tie going sleeper over 100 hands is too rare to be seen even in a million hands.

Note: Tie is the worst bet played among all popular table bets.

Where I play the Tie is paid at 9-1, due to the existent of the super pay egalite. Table minimum £1, which is good when playing solo and there are no free hands.

Talking of playing solo, for the attention of alrelax; last week I played a 6 deck shoe in 15 MINUTES, flat betting one-side only and a couple of shoes in 20 MINUTES, for reason that has to remain secret for now. Was thinking of alreax so I deliberately timed them so I could post on here, seeing he thinks such a feat is not possible  ;)

I also made over 200% profit of my buyin (12 shoes in total, inside 9.5 hours  ;D

One day a pit boss had mentioned he had never seen a shoe with no ties in so I came up with a strategy to bet the tie after 25 hands with no tie . I eventually changed it to 35 hands with no tie before I started a very long progression. I never lost with it but I had one shoe where my tie bet was up to about $150 on the tie bet and I hit P6, B6 on the second last hand of the shoe for $1200. The sad part was after that I only broke even on that one shoe and it was a good warning that anything can and will happen at any given time. I have never actually seen a shoe with no ties.

Seen one shoe in Atlantic City with zero ties in it back in the late 90's.  Seen a few shoes in all the years of playing with 1 or 2.  Last night and every once in a blue moon see a shoe with 3 or 4 ties.  In fact, most last night lost thousands when hand 50-55 came and only 2 ties.  Sad, but so true.  I have seen plenty with 5 or 6 or 7.  Tie is still and will always be the worst wager in bac.

Played numerous properties in Las Vegas, Reno, Southern California, Atlantic City, Connecticut, South Florida, The South/Southeast as well as most areas of The Midwest.

Baccarat, actually a mixture of Watergate, attacking the Gotti Family and the famous ear biting Tyson fight leading to disqualification and a near riot.  Bac has all that & more.

I don't see how ties should be viewed as much of a win opportunity when there is so much more in other strategies.

Hi Denzie,
The last week in April 2016 I played four full 8 deck "mini" Machine shuffle shoes on the same table in Florida.

Amazingly there were 7 ties, 9 ties, ZERO ties and 2 ties in each shoe respectively.

I rarely play ties unless there is an abundance. There were approximately 130 "no ties" between the last quarter of the 2nd shoe through the first tie in the 4th shoe.

I have been playing for many years and this caught my attention. When you play all the time you see some unique "WOW, I can't believe this is happening" thing at least twice a month.

This was unusual but it happened. Be prepared if you decide to attack the ties.

If you encounter double, triple, or quad ties, I have typically seen more coming.  Also, the bead plate can build a tie line or territory.
