The only conversation is pretty much theory in the lab, test, how do you wager, also lets bet every hand for 15 or 20 shoes and for sure we will make hundreds of units.  Other than that, anyone that plays in a B&M and discusses on here is like a leprechaun posing as a surgeon in a trauma center emergency room here these days!!

Dear all, do you guys think that it is practical to limit each casino visit session to the session's bankroll? For example you go with a bankroll of say $5000. Whenever you bet and win, you put aside the winnings and don't add to the session's bankroll. But once you finished your 5k bankroll, you leave with whatever money that you have won. So if you had won say $9k it means you leave with a net win of $4k (being 9k less bankroll of 5k).

Or maybe leave after loss of 2 x bankroll? Such conditions instill more discipline on your bet selections..

Just thinking out loud. Let me know what you think

Lungyeh, you know that this is the topic at the heart of my own discoveries, experiences, and difficult weaknesses. Further research has lead me to the chemical imbalances encountered by most gamblers. In a nutshell, we all must deal with these changes in order to stay in control, in our logical thinking centers. The mind wants to hang out in the pleasure center of our minds whenever the opportunity avails itself. Risk taking like winning money triggers these chemical changes.

I have discovered that you can't rigidly regulate when and how long win streaks will occur or how long they will last. Because of this I must play with a tactic that leaves room enough for opportunities to be exploited without being taken out of the session because of bad decisions. So I play, in my logical thinking mind. I force myself to ignore the chemical changes that make me want to ignore losing. This works to detect opportunities without sinking so low that my bankroll is out of the money needed to take advantage when they do appear. I can't avoid a bad session where no opportunities appear. So there must be a stop point. I have found that the best stop point is when I no longer have enough in my playing bankroll to attack an opportunity if it where to appear. So my playing bankroll can only be a small percentage of my entire investment in gambling. It all comes down to being patient, being ready, and staying in my logic center. For me it has always been a battle of chemistry. Because of that, the stop point is not my main focus for me. My main focus must always be keeping my head. When I do that the rest takes care of itself. If I don't I will almost certainly lose.

Thanks Gizmo! Great points and helping define.  I have wrote some stuff in relation and attempting to merge my 1/3rd, 1/3rd, 1/3 M.M. system when I win, helping me tremendously avoid a few things you verbalized!

Again thanks for your great input--I was feeling a bit down and mad at the board for all the talk of all the 'every hand' wins and off-the wall theory that could never ever prevail in a B&M casino.  I posted this thread last night after stepping out of a casino from having been sucked into the atmosphere 100%, the same place this song outlines, in fact pretty much 100%:

fits perfectly to the 'tee' with what happened last night.

I force myself to ignore the chemical changes that make me want to ignore losing.

But, in all realty with some of us--this works exactly to the opposite.  I agree with you to a point, but without the excitement-camaraderie and 'changing the cards to our wagering' which really doesn't happen 1,000% but the premise and the aura--allows myself and many of the people I play with the majority of the times to capitalize on that streak, chop or whatever pattern we so 'wrongfully' made happen.  I hope you understand what I am saying.

It is so true so many times.  I will tell you right here and now, that the upper 80-90% of the best runs and streaks I capitalized on with tens of thousands if not more than $100k of short term wins--was accomplished this way.  With huge loud screaming, high fives, shenanigans, and all the rest combined.  Not just in one locale, In Atlantic City, In Las Vegas, In Southern California, In the Midwest, in South Florida and a few others.

However, if you are in a locale where players constantly sit with their heads in their hands and grind, concentrate and bring numerous buy-in's to have the ammunition to take the casino down, forgive me--I rather not be there.

All that excitement means that you are in the pleasure center of your mind.

I have life experience that has been honed into my experience that I count on. I was a rock climber in places like the Sierras and Yosemite. Here is how it works. You must relax your mind. If you don't, then your hands and fingers begin to sweat. If your fingers begin to sweat then you die. So if you don't relax your mind you die. Same is true for do-or-die skiing. If you loses your nerve then you can't function in your acquired state of confidence. If that happens your muscles tighten up and your reflexes lose their memory muscle reflex capacity. You are then standing on top of a mountain with one third of your capacity taken away. That could also lead to being killed if you go.

I know how to control my emotions. I know how to go back into the logic center of my mind. I recommend it for everyone that has a worth while method of play. It has an amazing calming effect to it that lets you know that you are going to win.

I have had 14 and 18 and 22 repeating streaks of B and P alike.

I would rather have 5, 6, 7 other players around me where we are all in that proverbial center of pleasure than to have me head in hands and an absolute quite table of winning or losing players.

From my experiences there would be much larger wins and less loss or reserve on it.

One of my largest wins on F-7 @ 40:1 was $160.00 if I recall and it was only due to my buddy who rarely wagers on it, going in at $800.00 on the F-7 and egging me on to the point of holding up the dealing of the cards with the infamous sayings of "If you chicken go home", etc.  I had $25.00 on it and he kept up the chastising and funny statement until I finally got up to the $160. mark.  He was the high wagering player on the Banker so the pleasure center started off high and climbed and climbed.

There are toms of other instances and although players do not and cannot change cards and outcomes, we do change each others winning wagers numerous times.  This is the positive camaraderie that a lot do not subscribe to and is absent at some casinos.  But it is very real and lucrative to the baccarat player, where I have witnessed streaks and runs of both weak and strong hands/sections being missed by most or all and not capitalized on die to the lack or participation within that.

^ This.  This is why the concept of being anon in a casino is so laughable.  In fact, some of the strongest play I have seen is from strong drivers with dealers, floor managers, and other players on the sidelines right there with them,

Maybe you can define your meaning of the word 'anon'??

To the best of my knowledge it means 'at another time or again'  or is the abbreviation for the word 'anonymous'......??

As far as strong drivers, I have seen them crash and burn more than a drunken crack user as well, at times they can produce winning hands while blowing the pips off or adding them, yes of course, been there and done that, but their success ratio is not secure by any means....

How long ago did you start playing now??

I know the Viet and Laos very well from Riverside to L.A., don't forgot, there are no magical powers.  They same as when they fight their chickens out there.
