I posted and deleted a thread a while back about how to become a big player where you set goals to pay for things.

Then why would you even attempt to start another thread if you're just going to delete it when somebody steps in your Cheerios next week?

People in the business world do it everyday, all day.

They won't touch something with a ten foot pole they know nothing about, no matter the deal.

I am in the haz mat biz and when I talk to an owner of say a construction company that helps me with heavy equipment at times (for contractor type of arrangement) one could talk to your blue in the face to make a business deal, but the guy does not understand or comprehend because it is not his field of expertise and he is uncomfortable to make a deal.  Out of his norm, as they say.

There is also the issue of longevity and reputation.  In the business world it is kinda the same as gambling.  Say if someone loaned you $20k to play for 75% of the profits and you lost.  Then what, your on to the next mark?  That's what people think of gambling when you approach them with success stories to obtain funds or backers.

I have this guy that approached with for back up excavation work and has been around for a couple of years.  He is cheaper than the guy that is 20 year long business affiliation with my partner.  The friend of my partner's has 2 plus million of insurance, been around two decades and has 4 plus pieces of heavy equip and 6 operators.  He charges us $275 per hour plus mobilization and transport.  The other guy will do it for about 60 to 70 % of what the friend has been charging us.  My partner refuses to switch because he is convinced when a problem arises or we have an extreme vital emergency need, he won't be around, etc.  Then we lose the first guy that has helped us every time even though he is more expensive.  Might be a problem we never encounter because my partner won't give the new guy a chance???  Points to be made for both sides, but surer is better in most people's books.

Maybe that helps you a bit???

Played well over 36,951 shoes of baccarat since I started playing at B&M USA casinos.

THE PURPOSE OF GAMING IS TO WIN!

"Don't say it's a winning hand until you are getting paid for it".

Played numerous properties in Las Vegas, Reno, Southern California, Atlantic City, Connecticut, South Florida, The South/Southeast as well as most areas of The Midwest.

Baccarat, actually a mixture of Watergate, attacking the Gotti Family and the famous ear biting Tyson fight leading to disqualification and a near riot.  Bac has all that & more.
