Years ago, like prior to 2004 or so, they would never ever dream about it, never.

But now at most places I go, there seems to always be at least one player at the table that has a sick and twisted sense of humor. 

Here is an example.  Everyone is on the Banker and say the Player returns a total of zero and the Banker returns a total of 6 or even 7.  That idiotic player will say '9' loud just as the dealer is flipping the 3rd card over for the Player side, even thou he too wagered on the Banker side. 

After a while I said to this one, " 'WTF' man, seriously we all know you can't change a card value but why would you say that you want the other side to increase in value and we all lose, including you"?  He answered me, 'because when everyone calls for a monkey or the card they need for the opposite side to lose, it seems that the majority of the times the side would get a high value, so I think the opposite'. 

LOL.  Whatever, it is the new breed with the consistent always wagering for the cut, no matter what. I guess.

We have some players that do that.  By calling for the best possible card opposite they figure that card definitely will not come up.

I played two shoes last night.  I normally will either be a motor mouth or super quite at the table, depends who the dealers are and the other players.  The players I did not know last night, but the guy called no less than 4 times when sizable wagers were up on one side, for the other side to get an 8 or 9 and we lost every time he did that. 

True, no matter what anyone says or does, the pre-destined result would have happened.  But the whole aura, camaraderie and any possibility of 'over powering' the shoe, becomes obsolete with jerks like that.

Maybe I should try going to a Nascar race and calling for the absolute favorite to crash and burn and also sit in his section that is inundated with fans wearing his colors and apparel, etc.
