Yes, I have made that statement numerous times.  Well, today for five minutes or so--I went on the conglomeration of videos selling gambling systems and also those with gambling advise.

I have heard repeatedly the common layperson explanation of 'follow the shoe'.

The common quick explanation is this.  "Follow the shoe--means, wagering for the next hand to repeat whatever the last hand that won was".  So, if a Banker just won, following the shoe---apparently means to most people, wagering once again for the Banker to repeat and win.

However when I say that, I am not always referring to following the win with a repeat.

I am referring to following the shoe in a more overall aspect and general nature.  It has more to do than just merely wagering on the previous winning side--hoping for a streak/run or multiple 2's and 3's, etc., of the one side.

When I say, 'Follow the shoe', I am referring to what the shoe is producing and that is generally more than the very limited thought process of streak/run or chop-chop/alternating.

There are three (3) possibilities when looking at the results of a shoe.

1. a Banker win
2. a Player win

tie? no not a tie, because you get your stake back if betting on Banker or Player when a tie results. Then what else could there be you're asking? What is the third possibility?

Well if you look at the results objectively rather than subjectively you can see that the "change over" (not the zig zag) but the changing from say B B B B to P or P P P P P P to B is the CHANGE OVER. Therefore this "changeover" is the THIRD POSSIBLE!

Indeed it is this change over that causes baccarat gamblers to lose WHY? Because they do not know when it is likely to occur! AND how often it will occur! so the change could occur after one, B to P or after 2 i.e. B B to P 3, B B B P / B B B B to P and so on and reverse PPPP to B, you get the idea, then how often as I wrote so the LOWER the streak i.e. within say 3x and then a change over the more frequent.

So to win at the game of baccarat you need to know when these two KEY ELEMENTS occur. If you double up or down trying to ride them out you WILL be caught and therefore lose. If you zig zag or just follow you will lose. To win at baccarat PROPER you can't just follow or just go against i.e. opposite, to win you MUST have a strategy to combat the problem of the 3rd element, the changeover.

In my book, on amazon 'The Ultimate Bullet Proof Baccarat Winning Strategy' I show my readers how to overcome the changeover. How to gain the edge ahead of the game and not be caught out and how to survive. I explain all the details and when you read it you'll never go back to a losing way of playing. To win at baccarat all you need to do is win 3 units per day then you'll be up over 1,000 units per year times by the same unit stake amount you choose to bet, be that $10, $100, $1,000 or whatever.

I never ever play online for many reasons, some explained in my book. I always play in a REAL casino. I have also written about what you should look out for in some casinos what to avoid. Yes the casinos do cheat, well some of them.

Anyone hear of this book ?

Sounds like it's based on percentages that a banker or player  run will end.......which may not be very useful.

When I say follow, many misunderstand.  It is NOT always banker wagers because banker is being produced or player wagers because players are being produced.

After playing this game for many years, you will learn, that there are certainly things that happen in many shoes--NOT always.  Yes, there is NO magic and yes, there is no prediction with rocker science formulas.  However, when the shoe or extremely weak, or extremely strong, there are indications being giving off to follow.

Cut 2's and 3's and wagering for 3's and 4's are very dangerous.  Waiting for several B's or P's to happen and then going for the streak/repeating is also a huge failure compared to most anything else.

There are 'halfway' rules in my own experience, the highest majority of the times--which Steven Tabone, referred to as the 'changeover'.  Yes, there is actually something there in his statement.

Yes, I have made lots of positive and successful wagers with 3 and cut or 4 and cut, WHEN it is producing those.  However, my own checkmate of NOT falling into the wrong negative position the casino will nail a player at---meaning, $100 turns into $200 and then $400 then $800, then $1,600---is that I stop after the 2nd or the 3rd one.  Again, I do win the majority of the times I practice this, however--it is NOT foolproof as nothing is in bac wagering.  Problem being, too many players believe in their own mind, that they have found a 100% trigger and all the actually do, is wind up getting sucked in.  You have to go with the flow--realize the exact opposite can happen and open your eyes and your vision, to the fact that the complete opposite might and can happen.

Bottom line, if it is happening, go with it and if it is not--do not attempt to change it.  Last night, the shoe was halfway through, right around hand 45 or so.  4 times there was 3's and then cut and two times there was 4's and then it cut.  Right around hand 55, out comes 4 repeating bankers.  Everyone clearly citing it and wagered for the cut after hand 3 and 4.  Now they were all convinced and wagering for the cut ot the players.  Boom, another banker, the first 6 repeat in the shoe and they were astonished!  LOL, to the max!  And again and again.  9 and 3 ties.  Then all ones and 2's.  The Player comes out and same exact thing.  9 players and 3 ties.  Ties in a different order.  But exactly the same.  No one seen it and they all lost.  I lost on the first 2 Bankers on spots 4 and 5 of the 9 repeating bankers.  I stopped.  No one else did and I wanted to wager players then but I stayed out because I got upset like they did.  I realized my vision was effected.  Then when the players started the same thing, I caught it and I stayed on it until it fell off.  They lost thousands, I won thousands.  I seen it and I followed the shoe.  However, it could have been chop-chop as well, but I just gave you an example.

How did I 'see it'?  Well to me, the shoe was bouncing back and forth, regression to the mean--I would call it.  The side that was clearly behind would catch up and then bounce back and forth several times.  Then after the 9 bankers came out and about 10 hands later, around hand 62 or so, the players started.  When it got to the 4th one, I did not wager for the cut, I stayed on Players from the 3rd one down.  Parlayed 2 wins and then pulled down each win.  Continually until I lost the last one.  My vision was clear because the shoe was equally out, the side that was behind was catching up just before the end of the shoe.  The numbers the players were ultimately winning with, either a 9 over and 8 or a 7 over a 6 or the players would be reduced to 1 or 2 and the bankers reduced to 0 or 1.

There are lots of others, but that is what happened last night.  I clearly see it as following the shoe and not attempting to change the shoe.  It is easy for many to interpret what I just said as predication and guessing.  In a way, yes it is.  But in a way, no it is not.  Same as any other type of wagering to a certain point.  Everyone will say, 'I knew it' when they are right, Or--'See--I told you it would not' when they are wrong, etc.  I have wrote about Sections and dividing the shoe up into 3 and 4 parts and I have marked up actually score cards and posted them here.  Sections, IMO--are the strongest vision a player can have and stop all the ludicrous looking at the beginning of the shoe and saying for example, a natural cuts so I am wagering for the cut on hand 60 because it did it from hand 1 to hand 45.  IMO and experience, the shoe will repeat it's clear defining reasoning's for 15 or 25 hands more so by far, than the entire shoe.

Last night, here is another one.  A hard 6 cuts.  For like one Section of the shoe, maybe 25 hands or so, every time a hard 6 resulted in a win, it cut to the other side for the next hand.  Then it couldn't do that to save its own life.  Same thing with naturals and 2 X 2's.  Why in the hell do you think they allow you to score, write, look at your phone apps (in many casinos) and install boards that cost them tens of thousands of dollars?  The majority of players are so consumed with finding triggers and wagering for their mechanical cure thing based on scoring events, then actually realizing and seeing what 'can' happen, instead of what 'should' happen, and those are two huge differences.

Hopefully you will understand a bit more about the 'changeover' or what I call Sections now?  That is more of what I refer to as, 'following the shoe'.

My eyes glaze over every time I see these lengthy epistles.  I normally read the first sentence before I move on and then skimming that last post I find the TRUTH of it all!

You seriously can just skip over anything I write.  (Same as going to a restaurant, why go to a place you do not enjoy or like???  No difference 'J'.)

If I don't like something or feel it will benefit me or others related/associated with me, I would never venture to waste my time, no matter if it is here or with something else.  Unless you are so bored you are grasping for something to do.  But then again, I would just venture down to Woodward Avenue, Mcdougall or Herman Gardens, etc.,  and watch some bad guys get taken out or something along those lines.
