Specifically on drinks and baccarat.  Clarity, effective focus, and energy make win.  Being well rested, well fed, and well hydrated are part of it, but what is your drink of choice when playing.

I have been going with the following:
- Water.
- Coconut water.
- Red Bull because they totally refuse to stock other good hit like the Monster Rehab series.
- Coffee.  Their house coffee is so weak as well as their Starbucks so you have to get espresso to approach anything strong.

But.....   maybe Grey on ice will work because my second half's after break have sucked of late.  I see some players that do decently even though they are downing drinks at a good pace.

It is a huge mistake to think that players who are shutting down the bar and appear to be out of it do not have skill.  Players can be well lit, and still strike hard because that is their poison of choice.  It's really quite interesting as players can really give off a vibe like they are rookies and have no idea what they are doing, but they are right in line with what the shoe is doing.

They got all the animals and the jet fuel for support - ponies and snakes... Made a huge mistake last night by not playing with a group that smoked us last week on one of the hottest shoes seen in a long time.  But will not do that going forward although it was moreso a classic 'This shoe is soooooooooooo hottttt I can't believe it' situation.

Searched for what F1 drivers drink during and post race, and found very little.  Any links?

Also, tried this recently and thought it was good:

Coffee,  Pepsi or Coca-Cola, sparkling water.  At vegas or east coast,  Gran Marnier 150. Or Cognac XO.  Or Sambucca.

THE PURPOSE OF GAMING IS TO WIN!

"Don't say it's a winning hand until you are getting paid for it".

Played numerous properties in Las Vegas, Reno, Southern California, Atlantic City, Connecticut, South Florida, The South/Southeast as well as most areas of The Midwest.

Baccarat, actually a mixture of Watergate, attacking the Gotti Family and the famous ear biting Tyson fight leading to disqualification and a near riot.  Bac has all that & more.

On the off nights, or spot play nights, which is most of the time, I drink beer, pernod, champagne, red wine, tawny port, vintage port, scotch whisky, cognac, irish coffee, and benedictine 'till the wee hours.

If I'm there with intent to make money, which is not often as I don't really need to make money often, I drink a handful of cups of brewed san pedro cactus juice prior to arrival, then plain water through the night.

It's a good mix for me and makes for an enjoyable experience.

So much has to due with condition going into play.  If you are strung out on caffeine then another coffee drink or energy drink is not going to help.  Last night I was already like that and a large Red Bull did nothing not to mention that those 'buddies' didn't even have it at all cold.  If you are in a good condition and have power then your favorite drinks should have a much better result.

Also recommended to not try new cuisine before or during play.  Stick to what is in your wheelhouse.  And it is quite good to take a break before heading out.  Disco nap:

This is what Red Bull is supposed to do.  Just grab one and stay balls deep in max risk.  :)).  Sounds like some conversations at the table.

I went to the liquor store yesterday on my bicycle, bought a bottle of whisky and put it in the bicycle basket. As i was about to leave, i thought to myself that if i fell off the bicycle, the bottle would break so i drank all the whisky before i cycled home. That turned out to be a good decision because i fell off my bicycle seven times on the way home.

Actually, a very good piece from mainstream media.  The key like one of the last guys is to take as many as possible.

This is a very good review.  Another key is to be a bleeding edge test case for anything we can eat and drink because what could go wrong?

The movie "25th hour", ( first clip above ) had two of my favorite actors, Ed Norton, who played Monty Brogan, and Barry Pepper, who played the character named  Frank, and he also played in in the film Saving Private Ryan.
