Like almost everything in baccarat.  Key triggers, MM, progressions, etc., will work perfectly at times and then won't click to save your life.  Both for pros and amateurs.  The problems that you have to sort through, is when to rely on your methods and gut with heavy wagers and when to stop or cool it down to a bare min.  The real problem that almost all of us compound this problem with by a thousand fold, is that we get our ego blown wide open when we start hitting them and visions of cleaning out their rack, we hurt ourselves.  To sum up, most of us don't know when to friggin quit, stop, walk or wait.  And, for those that claim to know it, most don't practice it.

how and why on earth so many of you believe that the more you do something, the worse you get is beyond me unless you belong to a select group of people that do differ from most everyone else.

For example, the more we talk, higher will be the risk to say something wrong.
The more we work, higher will be the risk to make mistakes.
The more we drive, higher will be the risk to incur into an accident.

The more we play an EV- game, higher will be the risk to fall into the mathematical negative edge. Or at best to lose patience and composure.
