Greenguy makes some great points (and I also like TheCaviarKid's post). The real issue here (which albalaha has done his best to distract from) is the one I addressed in the "hinting" thread. The point of rule 7, for violation of which the disciplinary action against him was taken, is that those members who have a history of repeated spamming, system selling, and bragging, should "put up or shut up".
There is no doubt that albalaha is such a person. He was removed from vlsroulette.com and rouletteforum.cc for failing to "put up or shut up" after repeated requests to do so. Furthermore, it has recently come to my attention that the scope and duration of his system selling activities are far greater than even I had realised. A member (who will remain anonymous) has documentary evidence, including paypal receipts, that albalaha has sold systems for thousands of dollars, and which turned out to be worthless.
This member said:
"He had a graph on his website where the line went constantly up, and it was over 3 million spins."
What no-one seems to have picked up on is that the graphs on the thread which albalaha linked to are classic cases of "how to lie with statistics". The impression given by the graphs is that the system wins over 3 million, or 1 million spins, but this is misleading, to say the least.
In fact, the actual number of placed bets over the x million spins is far less. As someone pointed out in the thread, there are intervals in the graph where a bet was not placed for over 1000 spins! And in fact, Ophis acknowledges that he has no idea of the number of placed bets made; it could be as little as 5 thousand.
So much for mathematically beating roulette.
If albalaha is no longer selling systems, as he has claimed, then why did he have written under his avatar "I have done it, now your turn"? (incidentally, it is no longer there because Victor asked him to remove it). But he still has the email "firstname.lastname@example.org". These facts, taken together with his constant bragging about having "mathematically" beaten the game, and endless dismissive, negative, and belittling posts directed at other members, are, it seems to me, suggestive that he is still in business.
Make up your own minds. But I would urge anyone thinking of contacting him to be extrememly cautious. Judging from past results, you are very unlikely to "earn" with Sumit.
IMO he should go. He's been a thorn in the side of this forum for years. One mod's comment on hearing that he was muted was "Christmas has come early!"; I think many members would echo that sentiment.
It has indeed occurred to me that there may be something more to why he has remained in the forum for so long. But to be fair to Victor, he doesn't like to ban members, period. He's always willing to give them another chance. But for a forum which has historically relied heavily on donations... Well, read between the lines.
One more thing, I have to respond to this outrageous slur:
Our learned global moderator Bayes has been an ex-commander(moderator) of such scammer, pampering his known scams.
As I've pointed out to you more than once before (but you keep banging the same drum, because you have nothing else, presumably you think attack is the best form of defense), I left rouletteforum.cc shortly after Victor sold it to Steve, precisely because I did not want to "pamper" a known scammer. Check the date of my last posting there.
