The autowheel that I play on at my local casino was shut down this afternoon.

It's certainly the first time I have ever seen that happen.

The second dozen went missing for roughly 20 spins. Then after a double 15, it went missing for a further 33 spins.

I came back from dinner and it was closed. The manager said that there was some kind of malfunction with it.  :-X

Now obviously the second dozen can't just go missing on purpose. I wonder if they have some kind of bias analysis software and it triggered some kind of red flag.

I do not believe that a bias can develop that can bar an entire dozen from winning. Numbers of a dozen is scattered all over the wheel and each pocket can not have bias at once.

Hi Bally.

Soon as i read "Autowheel".....i was not surprised.

If it had been Airball then i might have been baffled, even so,it goes some way to prove that only B+M spins is the SAFEST way to play.

I thought autowheel and airball were one in the same thing.

That incident is deeply suspicious.

A lot of numbers in the 1-6 line were appearing during those 50 or so spins and I obviously have no idea what was going on before I got there. That is why I am thinking the computer may have flagged up some data which made them close it down.

There are different ways to look at it.

You could say there are no strange patterns and everything is random and therefore possible. Or you could say that you have never seen anything like that before and think it all a bit weird.

This is one of the older style autowheels. The pockets are fairly deep unlike the new ones where the ball looks really light and skips around the shallow pockets.

I am not sure if you could get a bias on one of these new machines but I certainly think it would be possible on some of the older ones.

I will be going back this afternoon to see if it's open again.

Here is a pic of a wheel that is used for the autowheel I am playing on...

You can see that the pockets are more deep than the pic below which is one of the newer airball type machines.

The autowheel that I am playing on has been there for about 5/6 years. They never changed over to the newer ones like a lot of other casinos did.

Bally,your playing Airball....yes?

Dino

No, I am playing on the autowheel.

The wheel lifts up and the ball dissapears after each spin and then the ball gets fired out of the side of the machine on the next round.

cheers

Bally do you play real wheels with dealer or just air ball ?

Dino246

Bally,i used to play that wheel at Supercasino,i'm sure it was the Airball table /wheel,not the Autowheel,as there was NO WAY i would ever risk my money on ANY Autowheel at any casino.

Hello Sputnik

I prefer the automated wheels at a real B+M casino because the time is a constant 45 seconds between spins. It's just me vs the machine and I like that.

Dino

A lot of casinos in the UK have replaced the type of autowheel machine I prefer to play on with the newer type of airball machines. Now my personal opinion is that they certainly don't go out of their way to improve the players chances. Also I prefer to stick with what's working for me.

cheers

RouletteKEY

yup...stick with what works

I agree...us vs. the machine and lots of spins...nice combination (usually)
