Maybe/yes  on some *short runs* like 80 000,   200 000 spins....but in the veeeeery long run for sure .....NO.

it's possible to use the framework of the permanence and manoevere yourself into positions where you can consistently take advantage and come out ahead flat betting.

All this is possible well at the same time each number is coming out as probability suggests over a long period of time.

Roulette is a unique game in a sense compared to other gambling games because of how you can interpret what is happening. My edge is how I use the information at my disposal.

cheers

If roulette can make money for us then this is the correct path to follow.

........ maybe i can believe it but i still have to find a way how to do it...... and if i find an way then one must bet both numbers, bad and the good ones..... betting only the winners...... i do not believe.....

Everybody claim he/she can, can easy proof it with the Bentley or similar.  After a while it is maxbet which is the only sensible bet.

Some can win flat for long, but probably not forever.

The betselection have to come over the house which is from 0 to 5.25% depending on table. The variance must always beaten.

If it is done with so small edge as  0.5 -  2% the player will rather soon make millions.

Flat betting and consistent winning = negative house edge for casino. Impossible, so far, theoretically as well as practically.

Old time gambler saying:

"First you have to win, then you have to get the casino
to pay you."

Good luck with that and your winning millions plan..

I do not have such a plan, and I do not bet flat. Without a plan to win a million I have done it once. (the currency  6.6 to an USD).
It is remote chance to repeat again.

It comes from accurate selection. All the rest is fluff.

I have attached one of my efforts to win betting EC's.

In this document there are 8370 placed bets, for 4287 winners, and 4083 losers.

That's a flat bet win of 204 units.

The expected win rate for 8370 bets is 4072 so in this large example I have an edge of 5.28% over probability.

The z-score for this sample is a whopping 4.7, so that would rule out any luck for this result.

Impressive.

I tend to agree with you regarding flat betting. I'm keeping an open mind but without mathematical proof there's always going to be the possibility that the next bunch of spins could see a reversal of fortune. The problem is that if you don't know the mechanism by which you have gained the apparent edge, there's always the danger that it could slip away. Subtle patterns can persist for 1000's of spins, and if you happen (by sheer luck) to have latched on to the right side of one it can keep you thinking that you have the game beat for quite a while. But I'm sure you know that already. Nice to have you one the forum MBB.  :)

All methods discussed here forget this blunt truth and nobody is there to talk about how to cope this.

Well i am going nuts, when i aim for plus 1 unit flat betting, then i can win 30 session very easy, so i start to think you might be able to flat betting.
For me i just aim for plus 1 unit and then restart the attack from scratch, keep each attack short ...

There is no bet selection then just follow the last, what is current and present at the moment and follow the wheel ...
I reckon i can do this as i have 66% probability to hit correct each time i attack with two attempts.

If i am allow to say it my self, so do i think its pretty amazing ...
All this thanks to Marigny and Markov ...

The smaller the edge the larger the chip size required to make your efforts financially rewarding, and therefore the more attention you will receive from the casino.

Big chips don't necessarily equate to professional play or millions in profit.

Anyone with millions as their goal needs to balance earnings with invisibility. Whatever your method, to be truly confident in the career sense, you must remain virtually undetected for decades.

It is harder in USA, two zeros and banning if you win. It is not so in Europe. I have seen computers in casinos openly. The casinos trust they will make profit, and takes a HE from 1.3 on EC. You are allowed to win as long the play is fair.

I agree

It may go for long, but the 2.7% or 1.3% will show up.  On BV NOZ it may be possible, if you bet red for zillions of time it can be more reds at
any number of bets.  I have tried a lot winning flat, it is at the end a smaller loss. On some inside bets like one single, it happens sometimes
I can stay  a head 1000 of spins, but at the end it swings down, and two chips will be bet.

--Here in my local casino I brought a tablet/but asked previously if could/on the table
and had original excel spreadsheet in front of me.There is lack of players around cause
of present recession WW and some casino are desperate to nail players.

Flat must have experienced that casinos in Macau even allow using cameras and video cameras openly. Where is Steve's hidden roulette computer? He should shift to Macau.
