Because a new one is being built from scratch; actually a new forum engine altogether.
No promises made as to when it gets rolled to our usage, but right now the best use of all my web-based coding time is our new engine.
I'm sure other brilliant coders can take the baton of adding new features incrementally to this engine in other sites and do the required maintenance.
To us: "vWeb"!
Actually, I kind of like this clean, blue look.
Not cluttered and EASY to read.

Thanks for the supportive words. We're still working on this, albeit not making "big-time" features which might take too much time and delay development from other things.
We're aiming for a warm and functional look indeed.
Thanks mate, trying to strike a balance between simplicity and functionality
If you're aiming for
warm and functional then to help you move forward:
- blue isn't a 'warm' colour
- http://colorwheel.wikispaces.com/8.+Warm+and+Cool+Colors (http://colorwheel.wikispaces.com/8.+Warm+and+Cool+Colors)
- the current concentration of links/icons/buttons/options could be cluttered and dysfunctional for many
But you'll get there. You always have before!
It's OK, let's set on this good ol' "cozy green". It's time to make software releases
Great!! Looks good.
Attractive, effective and simple... Bit like me really. ;)
We have a change in paradigm to app-based scheduled (we're currently page-based). Many interesting features can be implemented with such a paradigm shift. Hopefully it enables us to be on the bleeding edge again for the benefit of our community. We want to progress along with times :)
