OK the green arrows that appear once you are logged-in have had a mixed response.

Let's get the fact on them via this poll.

...Feel free to cast your opinion on the green ones! [smiley]welcome/handshake.gif[/smiley]

Some might be surprised at my vote here.......

Voted- 'They Suck' because:-
1. I find myself not using them.
2. They get in the way when wanting to edit a post, using the 'Modify Message' icon.[attachimg=1]
3. They are pretty gruesome looking icons.
4. I think most people surfing the forum, just wiz the pages up with the mouse slider.

Since I see them a lot during moderation, I concluded, that when something is so big, so "colourful" and loud, that actually
you don't want to use them, I shy away, and just use the normal functions.
I think a regular "Go Down", Go Up" & "Home" buttons placed in the right locations would serve us better.

Blood Angel

I voted "indifferent". I actually think they look cool....but I never use them. Like Chris said, I just scroll....old habits die hard.

Isn't that what the Prostitute said to her New Vicar punter?

"Ohh its in-different"..........

Good one D!

( yet judging by the numbers in the pool that'll be more like punishing the kind fellows :D :D )

I was SO tempted to use a proxy, sign up under 50 different names, and each would then vote that THEY SUCK.

[Not sure what they suck...thumbs...mammaries...ice-cubes?]

I have no problem with them at all - in fact I like the idea. Although, TBH, I've only used the Home one, but I do use that all the time. And I like the way they have been implemented - I think the built-in intelligence to when they display is very smart.

On reflection....

Would they be better accepted if they were:

  • much smaller (far too intrusive as they are)
  • maybe a different colour...white?... something neutral that won't clash with the red?

I'm comfortable with the size - can't miss them. Perhaps the colour could be different but they do need to stand out I think.

I'm colour blind. I can't see green, so I voted indifferent.  8)

How much did you spend on lawn treatments until you realised?

Could have been a bugger with Red and Black in the early days?!
