Fellows. Let's try to be gentler when addressing fellow members. Words convey messages; there are better and not-so-better ways to broadcast our what we want to communicate.

Let's avoid accusing each other when we don't know the whole picture. It is better to simply ask for the unclear facts rather than making assumptions, and then acting based on them.

For instance, member Alrelax is being quite generous with his offer, we ARE grateful to him and cheer on his support; now, there has been a “hiccup” due to normal banking delays; it is solved by now. This isn't ground to make conjectures.

On my side I myself am trying to create a virtuous cycle of free software to the community at large with a non-competing forum (BetSoftware.cc), with the added benefit of moving the support to it, so BetSelection is once and for all clear from the "donations stigma", to bear a fruitful forum away from financial considerations thanks to BetSoftware.

There's no big conspiracy here.

We are *all* simply trying to give a little for our common good.

...There's no "gambling players industry" per se, we are all building it as we go along, so let's get along. We are here to stay, it's better to have a nice & enjoyable ride together.

Remember: the "gambling forum scene" is you.

Vic, this a gambling site is it not?

Gambling involves both winning and losing money and the issues both can bring, I don't need to tell you these things.  Casinos don't willingly roll-over and if you do happen to have a decent game, then you better watch out, again I'm sure you are aware of this.  Yet on a gambling forum you can't use the word bullsh1t, rather you end up censored for it, however it is acceptable for a member to call another member a d1psh1t, that is until it is pointed out, then the mods finally wake up, oops no they didn't.

You see it is not fair in love and war, there is little love and it can be war when it comes to the pursuit of money, simple fact of life, yet you expect some lovefest with with an abundance of avatars. Come on Victor, step into the real world of gambling, pain, misery, desperation, broken marriages, lost homes, drugs, committing felonies, incarceration, murder and suicides, yet we need to be extra specially nice when discussing gambling on the internet.  Granted there is no need to be at each others throats either, but let's us not try and gloss over what gambling can ultimately result in.

Incidently I found it rather weird that when a member makes a donation, not only does he feel the need to mention it, after which proceeds to make a thread about it (oh look at me), besides being $30 shy of what the $50,000 ~ $10000k per buyin member promised, so hopefully that will be forthcoming also.  How about approaching that Alvin character for a bit of commission, seeing he made/ is making money out of this board, because he was able to fish for new blood?



   

I find myself agreeing with a lot of what Rolex-Watch has to say.

Gamblers in general are not gentle people. We are vibrant, left-field, creative, mischievious etc... Read some of the posts on some of the older gambling forums and you will have tears of laughter streaming down your face along with some of the most insightful information on gambling you will ever find. That all seems to be gone and I find gambling forums of today very sterile in comparison. The most insightful, intelligent and no doubt experienced gamblers on this site always seem to be getting into trouble for just been who they are naturally. When they leave for good (and they will) you are just left with a shell with no soul. You only have to look at the other roulette forum to see what a dumbed down forum looks like. 

If the gambling scene is us....then we don't need to be strangled and admonished for the 'crazy' people who we sometimes are.

What is your problem? Seriously what is it???  I make zero $$$  from this board and do not have or market any silly system whatsoever.  All I did was throw out there the possibility of having a gambling/system/product/book consumer end to a trade show that I am part of promoting at a strip casino property in Vegas but with the lack of interest from anyone or anyone having a viable marketable product here, I choose to pull down the inquiry and concentrate only on the tourist end of it with local Vegas businesses. 

Other than that, I choose to step up to the plate and put some small money into 'YOUR' board that your guys seem so attached to.

And the ONLY reason I posted publically about fulfilling my end of my 'promise' was the garbage and lie you posted, PERIOD.  You got on here and made me look like a piece of Cr*p, you made something up, put it out there and slandered.  Plain and simple.  Now you turn it around and still make me look that way.  All I did was put a little bit of my own bucks in this and that's it. 

You remind me of the drunk that had his car impounded last weekend by my sister towing company.  He got out of jail this morning and came to get his car.  When he got to the office he started yelling and screaming and saying we had no right to have his car and he demanded it back without paying the $375.00 fees.  He was asked politely to leave because of his attitude.  He refused.  Law enforcement arrived and he was trespassed warned.  He left and the police left.  A couple hours later he returns.  Police arrived back once again. Handcuffs went on him and two new crimes he was charged with.  A 30 day hold went on his vehicle as well for evidence.  $35.00 a day storage when he comes back in 31 plus days.

Also----I do not use Paypal to gamble, I bank wire the funds to the property prior to arrival.  Because Vic needed funds to secure the new board and I pledged those funds, all this started.  I don't live on Paypal, I don't gamble on-line, I work 18 hours at a min per day--if not more.  I am in a rural part of the country/state, I don't have access to instant things like metro areas do and things take me a few extra days. 

So I ask again, what is your problem?



   

Alrelax it was you who felt the need to publicise that you were donating $50 to the site, not me.   I just found it ironic/funny that you never did (due to paypal or otherwise), then you finally donate $20.  Why didn't you just donate, why create a thread about it?  I think $20 is a bit on the low side for somebody used to playing with $100k BR's, but a donation is a donation.  Now don't let me interfere with your 18hrs per day 6 days per week work schedule, give yourself a slap on the back, you must be very busy man with limited time to post.

Pssst, I don't have a problem, this isn't my board and don't twist what I write.

              Calm down and let Alrelax calm down too. We are a community and not enemies. All donations are voluntary here and a very few handful of members have ever donated to this place. Have you ever done? No one is forcing you for the same. If Alrelax plays with even a million dollar buy-in, why are you bothered? How can you bash a person who is contributing most towards a common goal? If you donate double of him, your words would have sound reasonable. Regarding his post about this, there seems no ill-will. He is a bit more interactive than others and wish to chat and share his experience and feelings.
                            Earlier I used to donate, whenever Victor needed with moneybookers and paypal. Now, Victor doesn't use moneybookers(now skrill) and I can't send money via Paypal to anybody. This is technical trouble about which I can't help. Neither can Victor.
If you can't do anything about helping to run community at least let others do it peacefully.

Funny thing is those who are not contributing a penny now or never did, are pointing fingers towards other or towards Victor. Victor has constructed this place and maintaining this community. He is only obliged to do a project for which he gets money/subscription, that too within a reasonable time.
                                      I hope Victor will deliver the much awaited project sooner than later and much before people get too impatient or bored or start to forget this.

My final say-so on this unintelligent subject you blown up is that, the correlation between lifestyle, material things, employment-business and personal assets has absolutely zip to do with donating to a on-line community I have no financial or ownership or partnership stake in.  Couple with it being a non essential service or a non profit group and a hundred other things.

Also your statement about me never donating before is also False-Slander-Erroneous and simple dribble form your mouth. 

I ask you please do not comment on me or anything I wrote on the board as you stir the pot without truthful facts or knowledge.  You sir, are the reason they have private clubs and organizations with memberships and references and voting to allow in or disregard.  There is no need to attempt top match public service, private donations, background, professional ties or concern for others with me as I DO NOT WITH YOU!

Thank you very much Esoito. Now hopefully his ban is permanent along with his other username John. Be prepared though he will come back with many other nics spamming your board masking his IP in doing so like he did at the Wizard of Vegas and Vegasmessageboard. He is also permanently banned at those sites as well.

Update: That was fast. Now John/Rolex-Watch comes back and registers as timex-watch in here. Maybe the Mods should ban his IP address like what Sonya did at VMB as a precaution but still not bullet proof but it is quite effective.

When someone slanders and lies it's a whole other ballgame.  Everything I posted (jokes or pretense/pretext post or two aside) was factual, truthful and the experiences I have realized over the years.

We have seen alrelax publishing about many topics. perhaps I was just waiting for a message that the transfer has already happened with the benefit for the forum announced? maybe we can not but assume that the $ 30 USD transfer has not taken place yet?

If it is so I would like to know the name of the bank that takes a month to make a transfer within the same country to never use that bank in case of a ransom request by a kidnapper.

It is funny but if there had been no reactions to the accusation of rolex-watch about the welshing it would not have aroused my curiosity. I am a big fan of a just vengeance.
