something about even chances

Hello friends my question is simple. Is anyone winning the even chances?

With so little pay I guess progressions are the greatest with the returns by spin the smallest. I was greatly surprised by the obsession of many such locations with so little pay.

At the casino I see that almost nobody plays the even chances. They mostly play numbers and inside bets. In manual roulette it is common to see the empty boxes outside in comparison but in the forums I see a constant obsession with the even bets.

Does anyone really win in them?

Thank you.

I was asked to give the 2-1-2 MM a try.

It is my limited and humble opinion that some even chance methods can be winners for a very long time.  Ultimately, they can all lose.  I love playing around with progressions, but all they do is give a greater possibility that you might stay ahead of the large losses with a little luck.

As long as either more than half the possible outcomes will defeat you or the payoff is less than fair, eventually enough of the losing bets will hit in a large enough cluster to bust your bankroll.

Even if you had a 2% advantage, the wild swings in deviation from standard, can kill you.

You can play and win for long, long periods of time with enough bank, but if you hit the killer series, if was all for naught.

I prefer to play with a 1,000 unit bank.  Divide the bank into 3 session buy-ins.  Set 350 unit stop loss.  This gives you 3 chances to survive a buy-in loss.  If you can't survive this, luck is not on your side and you should re-group.  Maybe a better system, if there is such a thing.

From my testings I have found that your system played by a computer program for millions of spins always loses.  If you test it by hand, no matter how many sessions you test, it's still too few to guarantee that the first time you go to the casino to play for money, you won't hit the worst string of spins you can imagine and wipe out all your previous confidence.

I keep remembering our friend Ivica warning that he had a system that won and won and won and he thought he couldn't lose until he encountered the streak from hell that almost wiped him out.

It's a good reminder to never and I mean never play with money you can't afford to lose!

That's my 2 cents worth.

P.S.  I've been by real play a bastardized version of Tera TNT for a couple of years off and on and am ahead by 500 units.  It wins about 1 unit for 15 bets.  The swings are pretty extreme.  I have a maximum bet of 80 units.  I have been down over 900 units at times.  For quarters, it's scary.  I can't imagine if you had to play a $5 unit.  I don't think it's a viable system.  I keep thinking when I'm in the hole 900 units that I could start the same kind of losing streak that I just had and since my bets are elevated, I'd be wiped out in short order.  Been lucky so far in my opinion.  If I had never gotten in the hole more than a couple of hundred units, I'd have more confidence, but scratching my 1000 unit limit so often scares me.
I don't enjoy playing roulette enough nor do I have the time to sit at a table for hours and hours on end.  That limits the systems I'm willing to play.  I'm looking for the system that will change my mind.

The benefit using regression is that you capitalize on both strikes and zig zag distribution.
The cruel part is that you have only three bets to catch a trend for domination.
If you don't then it is the end of that attack, if you don't want to get deeper in to the big hole, negative expectation.

Is not easy to spot and find trends for domination and jump on board if you are beginner.
It takes a great deal of knowledge.

I have often read this statement:  It worked for thousands of spins and then it quit.

My question is:  For how long did it quit?  Forever?  How do you know?  Did you wait a couple of weeks and try it again?

I win playing even chances.  Then I lose playing even chances.  The goal is to win more when winning and lose less when losing.

Wish I knew if it could be done.

The wheel layout is different for the even chances

For Red and Black, not including green, it is a uniform RBRBRBRBRBRBR etc around the wheel.

For High and Low, not including green, it is HLHLHLHL then a double low LL then it is HLHL agin until zero so not a totally uniform HLHLHLH all the way around the board like R/B is

For Odd and Even, not including green, it is a mixture of OEOEOE as well as OOEEOOEE so again it's not the uniform same as R/B

Knowing when not to bet is the big secret to winning the EC's. Of course that's like saying nuclear fission is the big secret to building an A bomb. Easy to say, hard to do..

RouletteKEY

I haven't played EC's for a long time...Can they be profitable?  Probably but if I were just playing those odds I think I would favor baccarat and get away from those green numbers

I haven't played them in ages because it is too difficult to recover from a string of losses and the likelihood of getting the string of wins when you need them...just isn't worth the risk.  I would think if this was your play you would need a very significant bankroll and a ton of patience (I know every spin is unique) because in my experience you need to either play multiple EC's at once if you're in it for the action or pick at them when opportunity raises it's head (if you're in it for the money).  Either way it's not my cup of tea...just felt like interjecting as I'm bored tonight and no one seems to ever talk about betting just a few inside numbers anymore...

I'll just be on my way now

If you're going to play EC, go with baccarat for sure.

Really interesting thoughts have been exposed. I like to have initiated the topic. I personally think the pay looks bad on simple chances. that is why I asked first.

Thank you for your contribution with your point of view.

EC's are tricky so you need a tricky bet selection.
You could try using up to 4 methods. Select a bet with the 1st method then quickly run through the other 3 methods to see if there is an opposite selection. If there's no opposing selection then place your bet. If there is an opposing selection then select a bet with the 2nd method then quickly run through the other 3 methods to see if there is an opposite selection. If there's no opposing selection then place your bet. If there is an opposing selection then select a bet with the 3rd method then quickly run through the other 3 methods to see if there is an opposite selection. If there's no opposing selection then place your bet, etc. If there are opposing selections through all the methods then skip the spin.
Also you can add extra EC's of your own creation. I wouldn't add too many because you will throw up too many opposing bets. Just adding one extra pair of EC's can really open up the game.

OK said,

----as I play/on airball morning sessions thisway/and just glance this morning last 8 spins11,13,33,31,15,17,15,17......where I continued to play on 3 different  methods D'Alembert, cycle of 9 spins...and after 9 spins was up on all 3 methods,as next 9 spins where;34,29,22,18,20,27,30,12,28.......well,some would probably follow the trend here, but I decided opposite...it is
all up to the player......but even if you miss the road sometimes,it is easy to find the way back when playing in cycles.

btw-I continued on reds,evens and lines 2,4,5

Will it really help? This is the newest fallacy in the town.

Only??

Well it is a big difference concering your old published software in the past which was tracking 3072 EC bet selections.

Would you mind at least telling what precisely are you tracking in those 128 BS-s?

Thanks
