Spent the spring and summer and early fall using your original  parlay: 2, 2, 2, 6, 8 ,   10, 15, 20, 25, 35, 50
                                                                                                        6  4  2 12 12,  10 , 15, 15, 10,15, 25

Used it on many diff types of sports bets and oh my it produces !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
much appreciated the bull dog is fed

If that's a negative progression, it can get pretty ugly if you are betting $ 100 a bet because if you lose 6 bets in a row, your next bet is $ 1,500.......and losing 6 bets in a row happens all the time in sports betting, baccarat, blackjack roulette etc etc etc.........  unless I'm reading it wrong because you have 2 lines there and I'm not sure what the progression is.

Tomla

top line is the progression --bottom is units won-----i haven't gone past a few steps for months and i have bankroll..... its really really really hard to lose 7 in a row in sports.......try to do it on purpose :)

The parlay style has made me a lot of cake over the years. It's a grind, baby, but a profitable grind, hey hey.

tdx

Is it a positive up as you win positive progression or up as you lose negative progression ?

How would you bet this series of bets ?

Win

Tomla, I am always curious about successful sports bettors.  How do you select the team to bet on?  Is it a mathematical process or do you follow sports closely enough to be able to intuitively pick?

I think you will find your answer in the quote below,

It depends what the odds are. For long shots it's really really easy to lose 7 in a row.

tdx

Looks like a negative progression ( up as you lose )........anybody figure out how to bet it ?

Looks like if you lose 6 in a row you have to bet 15 units.

From looking at this you try to parlay the winning progression top if you Parlay the top line it gives you the bottom which really a dollar amount

soxfan

The progression is simple. Ya gotta capture a coup of back to back win to make profit and reset to the first bet. If you don't capture a parlay you go up one rung on the progression ladder. It ain't rocket science baby, hey hey.

Mike

I don't understand how anyone can make money using this progression. If betting the even chances a double win has odds of 3/1. The progression has 11 steps. The even chances can easily go to 20, 30 or more without a double win. Try it, you'll bust in short order.

james

Perhaps it will bust in casino games, but not in sports betting.

soxfan

Well, duh, of course yer gonna bust every then and now, hey hey!

james

I could not come up with a bet selection that gives positive return using this progression in baccarat and craps. It busts often and the small returns is offset by the loss of 175 units when it busts. If you are playing at a $20 table, you will lose $1750 if it busts.

I do not have access to sports betting since it is not allowed in USA except Nevada. Sports betting is not allowed since authorities believe that betting will impact the integrity of the game!
