Title: A few shoes and a bit of play!
Post by: Bally6354 on October 30, 2023, 10:27:15 PM
Hello,

I will dedicate this thread to putting up a few shoes from the Evolution Live Casino (Online) and also play a bit as well. I know some of you guys like to test against live shoes as opposed to RNG/Simulators etc..

Here are two from tonight.

If I had to test an approach the least option coming to my mind would be to use Evolution shoes.

At that site cards are so badly shuffled that it's very difficult to get hints about a "general" line of thought.

I suggest to test shoes coming from "shuffling machines" and/or preordered shuffles as someway we need the "randomness" factor to act for implementing more constant situations.

as.

Thanks Asym,

You could be right! 'Johno' had a lot of table experience and he said the same thing about Evolution shoes after playing them for a few months. I think he commented that they were very streaky and like you, he noted the shuffling procedures were sloppy.

To be honest though, I don't really care what they throw out. As long as I am reading what's currently happening correctly, I can't really do too much damage and should come out winning a few more than I lose more often than not.

Since I can't upload the pics, I will try it manually.

BBBBB

My goal is just to stop at +5 for no other reason than keeping a bit of discipline and also because it's a bit taxing on the grey matter and so doing things in short bursts suits me just fine.

WW L WWW L WW L W LL WW LL WW L WW (14 W vs 8 L)

I had 2 Banker 6's in that lot and so had to give them a unit.

A bit of a strange shoe really but everything at least lasted for a hand or two and so it wasn't exactly difficult to navigate.

Run, Chop, Run, Chop (some 2's mixed into the chop) Run. Sometimes there are little sections within sections if you really want to be precise. I think I mentioned before that my sections seem to be a bit shorter than the ones Al show but I put that down to my bet selection.

Looks like a good idea to try to segregate sections in a shoe....but I think that there have been numerous studies ( sorry can't give more details on that ) which show that in the long run, approximately 85% to 88% of the hands in a shoe will be for runs of 3 or less..................which make the entire shoe one big section of 3 hand combinations..

As  I said in a previous post many months go, if the runs are mostly 3 or less, it is very difficult to bet them since you can get numerous possibilities such as  BBB or PPP or BBP or PPB   BBPP or PPBB   or PBBB or BPPP  or junk such as  PPBBB PPPBB PBPP  BBPPP  BBBPP  etc etc etc etc

And of course, you will a few runs of only 4 such as PPPP or BBBB which make life even more difficult.

I agree with you 8OR9, some players love the streaks and they are great when they happen (which I will show from my 2nd shoe played) but well they undoubtedly happen, I maintain along with you how are we going to read the combinations which appear more and like you say, it's those 3 hand or 4 hand combinations of mixed results.

No doubt that's why some people like to look at the derived roads to try and find a steady supply of whatever it is they are looking for but they are all independent from each other and could really have someone chasing their tail.

Shoe 2 went down like this!

B
PP
BBBBBBBBBBB (that's 11)

There were a further 4 Bankers before it switched over to player.

L WWWWWWW for +5.5 with 1 Banker 6.

It's funny because I just commented up above how a few people were saying the Evolution shoes were streaky. If they were all that streaky, they would be dealing the cards from under a bridge!  :)

Bally6354--Thx for posting outcomes. I probably would not have been in anticipation for that 11-Streak B run. Especially that early in shoe with nothing beforehand. The predetermined B-only bettors doing a pospro likely did well. Though they may have given it back in latter part of shoe as I would guess P tried to make a comeback /closed the gap before the shoe was finished.

I agree 8OR9:
"...if the runs are mostly 3 or less, it is very difficult to bet them since you can get numerous possibilities such as  BBB or PPP or BBP or PPB  BBPP or PPBB  or PBBB or BPPP  or junk such as  PPBBB PPPBB PBPP  BBPPP  BBBPP  etc etc etc etc..."

I like to see both sides (P and B) holding at threes or twos, versus only one side holding. That is, when I look immediately to the most recent outcomes on tote I prefer to see a consensus shelf.
If both sides are holding at the same shelf, I perceive that as being a little stronger vs just one side holding. My logic is that early in the shoe (when most all cards are still available) this consistent holding for both sides suggest the ordering of the cards are not showing favoritism. Especially if we have also observed a cyclical rotation of number of cards in each hand(i.e., 4,5,6 cards per hand) as this sometimes gives me an extra nudge to bet against this shelf. Typically, I only make two swipes at it: For example if both sides have just stopped at 3 and then I see (e.g.,BBB) again for the second time: I may try two attempts with P/P wagers. If it has now gone BBB BB I will cease/watch for another shelf or trigger.

Continued Success,
