This thread will throw out some stats for Hot Numbers in the hope that it might inspire some fresh ideas.

I am going to do the stats in 3 cycles of 37 spins.

So I will have results at the 37, 74 and 111 spin mark.

What I am wanting to find out is the average for things like.....

how many times does the hottest number appear.

how many numbers don't appear  etc....

It will hopefully build up a profile to use as a framework when coming up with new ideas.

Any suggestions are welcome.

I will try and do a few every day and then it should give a good idea as to what is happening.

So just as an example going on these few stats.....

There is an average of 5 numbers that have hit 5 or more times after 111 spins.

So it does look like we can count most of the time on at least 5 numbers appearing 5 times or more by the end of the third cycle (111 spins)

I do have one idea for an approach after reading a few pages in Martin Blakey's book regarding hot numbers.

His suggestion was to look for 3 appearances in 11 spins.

My research into that found that a win would come quite often on the 11th spin after a qualifier on the 10th spin.

example...

23
7
33
18
19
24
35
11
8
23* qualifier!
23

I was surprised how often this happened.

Sometimes the worst thing that can happen is to get the qualifier straight away and then not get a hit.

like....

23
23* qualifier
11
19
33
7
0
9
27
15
28

So the approach would be to wait for the end of the third cycle when not many numbers have appeared 5 times and then hope for a correction. It could prove costly to jump on board any numbers that have appeared 4 times at the beginning of the third cycle hoping they quickly mature into 5+.

How many times have you had someone turn around to you in a casino moaning that their numbers started coming up once they ran out of chips.  I wish I had a pound for each one!

The importance of proper bankroll.  It seems to never get mentioned or emphasized enough.

You must be properly capitalized in order to give yourself an adequate shot at victory.  2.63% house edge (or even 5.26%) pales in comparison as a playing factor when compared to virtually unlimited bankroll vs the avarage gambler with a few hundred bucks in his pocket.  It's a much bigger factor than most people ever acknowledge.
