using blackjack basic strategy drops house edge to half a percent

what are the chances of NOT winning a minimum of 2 times in a row within 12 tries?
QuoteBecause the house always wins. Play long enough, you never change the stakes. The house takes you. Unless, when that perfect hand comes along, you bet and you bet big, then you take the house.

Just a guess ... I would think the freq. Of 2 iar would be close to breakeven.  But a parlay is a good bet being u will win 3 bets. Just gotta pick  your spot. Hit one out of four for a brkevn.

The basic strategy of this game is described in the following table, in which the sum of the card values of a player shows on a certain row. The value of the dealer's open card points to a specific column. The corresponding symbol in the table determines the optimal decision recommended by the basic strategy. The table is divided into hard fixed values, "soft-soft" values and pairs. All possible moves the player can make are listed below:

hitstands for "hit" ("additional card")
standstands for "standing" "(" no more cards ")
splitstands for "Split" ( "split card pairs")
double hitstands for "doubling" (if not allowed then hit)
double-standstands for "doubling" (if that is not allowed, then standing)
surrender-standstands for "task" (if that is not allowed, then "hit")
The basic strategy described in the table relates to an American type of blackjack with 4 or more decks of cards. The dealer is always on 17 (no more cards can be dealt), doubling is possible after the split and you can surrender to any card.
