For the past decade, I have purchased a numerous amount of Baccarat marketing materials ( not exaggerating, but at least 30-40 different individuals or companies). Also enrolled in some type of forum with the person selling the program if available. I have spoken personally to some of the vendors. I admit to spending up to 1,000 USD for a program.  Yeah, call me crazy.. Baccarat is my passion. I would learn a certain mode of play, practice the hell out of it on live dealer casinos, feel confident enough with it, and trek out to a land based casino and try it out. Most of them were mechanical in nature. If I just happen to fall upon a shoe that matched up well with a system I am using, I would do very well at the tables. If not, then I by playing cautious and not over my head, I would take minimal losses (not more than 5-10 units) and quit. I am not going to call the programs I purchased scams. Many just won't stand the test of time. There is one very legitimate outfit in BTC . They are honest people and do teach you so much.  That is just the way things are with people you deal with in life, its like picking out chocolates in a box. The casinos that you play at have seen every system imaginable and they adjust.  We are all adults here. We made the choice to purchase a program, if it doesn't work out. Don't go complaining about it. Buyer Beware.

Within the past 3 weeks, I have purchased the IPLAYFORLIVING  program. I am in the learning stages of it at this time. To this point, I have received a tremendous volume of learning material. More than other program I have purchased (most of the materials were double spaced 10 pages maximum). As advertised by Alvin, each lesson comes with at least ten pages of explanation and baccarat shoe examples explaining how he approaches a shoe. I have not have received the entire course material as of yet. But, just working with about 75 percent of the course material and what I learned so far (inclusion and testing live casino shoes that I saved from previous real money play). The results are very promising. I have already have gotten my money's worth . As time develops. I will give more concrete analysis, as I ultimately learn the complete package and play with real money.

I had put out a question to this forum about the legit nature of IPLAYFORALIVING..there was positive feedback. I have corresponded with Alvin prior to purchasing his package. He has given me a tremendous amount of information. I have seen parts of this before in my travels through the depths of Baccarat, but never to this extent.

Joey,

Two things come to mind.  (and not a reflection on the board or its members, just IMHO only).  I said that because I have a blog on this board and most of it is about Baccarat.  Some don't like my humor or experience but it's all okay.  1) You are affiliated with a system or the system you mention.  If not, 2) You are gullible and have a huge thirst of knowledge yet to be quenched.  Carry on, nothing wrong. 

I played the game for three decades or so.  Never did the system thing, read one or two, but I know my style, what works and what does not work. 

There is nothing wrong with research, books, DVD's, etc., on any subject.  My main line of work is environmental and haz mat spill response.  BELIEVE ME!  My office is full of books and some cost $500 and up.  I read most of them, parts of others and yet---some are so far from being correct or applied in the field they are hazardous in themselves, LOL!  But true.  I am a realist.  I deal with the morons out there, the truck drivers that know zip about what they carry, their dispatchers that can barely recite the American A-B-C's, and spill clean up factor companies that go for price alone.  Add to the list State Troopers because of their assumption everything is done on speed and at the spur of the moment.  On the other hand I deal with the EPA, State Regulatory Authorities, OSHA and a host of other Federal or State know-it-all and don't give a F*** officials that rather put someone in jail than get the mess clean up the proper and fastest way. 

How do I handle them???  Like baccarat.  Do what it takes.  Do it 'right' but leave off all the protocol, trimmings and 'wrong' things that you feel don't fit into your opinion of justified and correct.  I am comfortable when I twist and turn it my way to make it work for ME.
