Blackjack Forum / Re: Star progression
December 02, 2015, 10:34:38 AM
I know there are a few people on this forum that use the star system as their bread and butter.
I have unfortunately  injured myself and will be off work for a month or so with not much to do and am contemplating playing the star system with my betselection at online live dealer baccarat.
Can I ask people who are long time users of this system a few questions:

What variation of star do you use?
What bankroll is required?
What is average drawdown and largest drawdown?
How often will it bust?
What are the average win units per shoe or number of shoes?
What $ value do you reccomend as base bet to make it worth the while?
Thanks

Baccarat Forum / Rapid baccarat/ roulette
December 02, 2015, 10:06:07 AM
Rapid baccarat and roulette are quite popular nowdays in Australian casinos.
Rapid baccarat and roullette consist of a live dealer but instead of betting at a table bets are made on a electronic machine, allowing more players per table and a faster paced game.
I will be travelling to Europe and the United States next year and was wondering if these live dealer with electronic betting is popular in other countries?
Im also interested in hearing other members favourite casinos in the US and Europe.

What are the drawdowns like?
What is the biggest drawdown you have experienced?

interesting idea
Do you vary  your minimum bet or simply play for streaks and invest streaks?

Hi ADulay,
Yes im not holding my breath with it but interested to see how it turns out over a large sample size as over my 100 shoe test it looked promising.

Hi ADulay,

The event I am looking for is when there is an inbalance of wins of 6, i would start betting for the ibalsnce to even out, until either the inbalance returns to even or the shoe ends

What I am looking for is how often there is an inbalance of 6? (Betting trigger)
And if it does not return to even the amount won or lost. (Eg start betting at -6, finished shoe -12, resulting in 6u loss.

If you have this info and could forward it to me I would be very appreciative 👍👌

Good luck with clearing you desk! Lol

Cheers Matt

Cheers for the link.
The particular data i need is not there though, other than manually going through the shoes.
I have tested manually over 100 shoes and will continue testing, though it would be good if someone with the ability to program to find the specific data i require over a large sample size would be able to lend a hand.
It would be quite simple to produce the required data for someone with experience in excel, it is basically gathering statistics of 2 events per shoe.
I am willing to pay for the service.
Cheers

I have found something in my testing which has so far proven profitable over 100 shoes of testing.
If there is someone who would be willing to give me some data over a larger sample size i would be very appreciative.
Please contact me through pm or my email mattindk@yahoo.com.au if interested.
It is as simple as telling how often a few certain events happens per shoe.

Baccarat Forum / Re: Losing shoe
November 11, 2014, 06:23:36 PM
I just played through the shoe with one of my usual money managements and ended shoe +3 units with biggest drawdown of -9 and biggest bet 4 units which is in the higher end of my compfort zone.
Still not too bad for a shitty shoe :)

Any profit over a losing shoe/ session is always a good thing, especially if you don't have to go too deep into a progression 👌
What kind of bet selection and money management were you using?
#41
I was playing baccarat like this for a while some time back.
I was using a mild "shoe by shoe" type progression with it and had some steady wins with only mild losses occassionally.
Is anyone still playing this way? If so how is it bearing and what kind of mm are you using?

Dozen/Column / Re: Follow the wheel dozens roulette
November 11, 2014, 04:15:08 PM
haven't had time yet to do much testing but in theory betting strongest 2 dozens from previous 3-5 spins should catch any dominant dozens and avoid any sleeping dozens quite well. If the dozens are running even, should still hit as average.
Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
When played with my money management I play double dozens as 1 bet.

Yes definately, i have seen even chances go 20 spins without hitting on occassions.

Hi VLS,
Yes that would be great, I don't have much experience with that type of thing but will have a play around and see if I can work it out.
Cheers 👍

Dozen/Column / Roulette Dozens files/data
November 11, 2014, 01:16:13 AM
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has some roulette random spin data expressed showing winning dozens?
As all the data I have shows numbers only and can be quite tedious when testing for dozens.
Cheers
