Hi,

Long time no see. Though I just noticed that there is reference to the great Johnsom progression in another thread. Good ideas never die...

This is kind of a moderate Martingale (up when you lose) with a touch of D'Alembert (down when you win) method.
Is this the best roulette method ever? Most likely not. Is it a decent beginners system? Unquestionably! IMO it is superior to most of the systems found on the web or anywhere else.

Harryj said you should play the losing Even Chance after it lost 3-4 times. You wager for the following 3 spins.
Be that as it may, you can pick an alternate trigger if you like.

What makes this truly fascinating, beside the nice betting progression, is that you stop after 3 losses. You bet the trigger and if you lose 3 spins, you stop and sit tight waiting for the following trigger. This trick helps you avoid long continuous losing sessions.

General Discussion / Strange question about roulette
April 19, 2015, 05:18:16 PM
Hi,
I posted this question in my site's forum and got all sorts of unrelated answers. It was overwhelming. I took it as evidence that our minds are so fixed on a very specific approach to roulette, that we can't think out of the box.

So I will post the same question here, to see what answers I will get from this forum's members.
Question:
What money management/progression would you use in order to keep your winnings/profits LOW even if your bet wins often.

If you need an example of a winning session take this: WWWWLLWWWLWWWLWWWWWLWWWLWWWWWLLWL

So, can you devise a reliable money management method that will guarantee that in a winning session your profit will be as low as possible?

General Discussion / Help find the word
January 25, 2014, 07:11:55 PM
Hello,

I have forgotten the english word that describes the following type of progression/system:

We bet mentally on both EC (Black and Red) with a specific progession(martingale for example).
The actual bet that we put on the table is the result of subtracting one bet from the other.
For example, if according to our two progressions we should bet 2 units on red and 3 units on black, our actual bet is 1 unit on black.

There are various such systems. I have forgotten what they are called. What word should I use to describe such a system?
"(Supplementary? Complimentary? Contrary? Cumulative?) betting"?
I know there is a specific word for it. I have read it many times but I have forgotten it.
Do you know how we call such a system in english?

Thanks for your help.

General Discussion / A Money Management Challenge
September 02, 2013, 11:14:20 AM
Hello,

We can argue forever if roulette can be beaten or not.
However here is a challenge for you to test your creativity, knowledge and intelligence: Beat roulette given specific (hypothetical) certainties.

The challenge

You have 20.000 units bankroll. Your bet can be from 1 unit to 500 units (500 is the table limit).
You are only allowed to bet on RED, as often as you like.
In the next 100 spins the RED will appear exactly 30 times, but we do not know in which spins.
Make a profit of at least 1 unit after the 100th spin.

How would you do it?
