Math & Statistics / Difference of more than 10 baccarat
December 18, 2015, 09:44:58 AM
Betting every hand, how often will there be a difference of 10 or more wins/losses at end of shoe?
#18
For example im running 5 different bet selections, 3 of which require a bet on banker this hand, 2 require bet on player this hand. 3-2= Place 1u banker.

Does anyone use multiple bet selections simultaneously, that require bets most hands?

Does anyone have any thoughts or feedback on this?

Meta-selection / All in 1 betselection
December 18, 2015, 07:24:35 AM
I have been toying with the idea of playing multiple bet selections together using differential betting.
Example bet selections:
1) Track player/ banker wins and betting on which ever side had won the most hands
2) Track FTL/OTL and bet on what ever side has won the most hands
3) Track singles/ anti singles and bet on what ever side has won the most hands

Say the next hand would require two bets on player and one on banker, i would simply bet 1 unit on player.

Everytime I am up by 2 units I will stop betting until my wins and losses even out before i start betting again.
I have been testing with flat betting and a hit and run type play.

I will test with some various MMs also during week.

Does anyone else play in this manner?

I remember a few years ago i read something called andys progression.
I can't remember what the progression was but from memory the betselection was:
1) If the current hand ends with an even number of cards bet the same side that won
2) If the current hands ends with 5 cards bet opposite to side that won

Does anyone remember this?
Or know where to find the article?

Have a read of this Matt.

It's called 'elongated star' and was posted up by 'johno' years ago.

This is probably as good a discussion as you are going to get on a public message board discussing the Star method and different variations.

cheers

Ok thanks horus i will have a look

I would never use star, as written, with any less than the 4000 units bankroll, hey hey.

Is there a variation of system you would reccomend?

Have you read star and fooled around with it on a piece of paper?  Maybe online minimum $1.00 and big maximum you could give it a go but even at $5 minimum it will require huge bank.  Run through it on some test with various amounts and see how it sits with you.

Maybe "Baccarat Attack" would be better?

No i have not done much testing with it yet as i would like to find out about the variations first.
Ok i will take a look at baccarat attack too.
Cheers

I know there are a few people on this forum that use the star system as their bread and butter.
I have unfortunately  injured myself and will be off work for a month or so with not much to do and am contemplating playing the star system with my betselection at online live dealer baccarat.
Can I ask people who are long time users of this system a few questions:

What variation of star do you use?
What bankroll is required?
What is average drawdown and largest drawdown?
How often will it bust?
What are the average win units per shoe or number of shoes?
What $ value do you reccomend as base bet to make it worth the while?
Thanks

I am a little confused aswell

Hand1 W 2
Hand2 W4
Hand3 L8 -so would this mean i need to invest for next hand?
Hand4 w16 (invested)
Hand5 l32 - would this mean invest for next hand though wouldn't i require 64 units bet to continue??

Also when playing with baccarat do you cover the banker commissions out of your own bankroll?

Do you play against live dealer or RNG?
Profits sound excellent though i struggle to see where they would be coming from if the streaks are only hitting as expected- maybe something to do with the invest streaks..?

Yeh i understand what youre saying. My usual baccarat play consists of a mixture of mild negative progression and positive progression, though I have heard many people talk about the star progression and am interested to see how it compares.

Hi Denzie
Why is that?
Have you had some experience using the star progression?
