One of the flagship methods back in the day was the Lw methodology. The prospect of it being a “worldwide method” fascinated me (i.e. it being more than just an anomaly found in a local roulette wheel).



The Lw methodology can be applied to many locations, but there's a constant for its best operation: Lw's need an asymmetric bet selection.

In the practice this means a selection where one side of a bet has more locations covered than the other.

For instance:

Two out of three dozens.
Five out of six double-streets.

Of course, their reversed being just as valid:

One out of three dozens.
One out of six double streets.



In hindsight, the "clumping" phenomenon we noticed as showing over and over when charting Lw's is simply the natural occurrence resulting from such asymmetry:

The natural path for an asymmetric bet in one spin is favoring the “loaded” side, i.e. the side with more locations covered.

But the game must keep casino happy. Overall percentages must be met.

This means there are inevitable times when the cycle is to be skewed. In order to compensate the loaded side; otherwise beating the game would be simply a matter of betting the larger side over and over without any further strategy at all. Should this effect not be a reality, then a simple stiff bet such as "bet all but the last line" would be the key to all riches. Since this effect is a reality, we know it isn't as such.



The Lw methodology was based on this ebb and flow resulting from asymmetry, and the concept of the TIMELINE.

By placing successful and failing results for a selection one after the other in a line, you can see win/loss development over time.

When you use this Time-line, you get the larger view. You can “see the forest *and* the trees” regarding what happens in your current playing session to your bet selection.

Here "players’ cunning" element comes into play, to bet for or against the current state of events (or not betting at all).

It's all about current conditions. Playing CONTINUATION of current events, but not being stubborn to cloud your judgement by the wins and keep no being able to spot changing conditions and adapting.

When in a long string of w’s the Lw player with mileage would squeeze the w’s to their very max, but when L’s come back again, it’s either pause or playing against FOR the L’s to dominate a new tram.

Should it go back, then you adapt.

Playing Lw’s is very much like sailing. You deal with the very current waves at hand, but are aware of the whole surroundings at all times.

Looking for the 'loaded' side to go AWOL and betting the opposite can be great in conjunction with parlaying our wins. (There is very little downside to that if you have the patience) The casino can't escape from that. Where as we as players can stop betting anytime we choose.
