Years ago was only the thought of continuously increasing the bank roll and playing larger and longer no matter what the bankroll was at.  As well, the highest majority of the times the win money caused me quicker and definitive losing,  I never knew about refreshing and resetting, that i have wrote about.   Now i do the following.

10% of win for my next buy in.
30% locked up and gone.
30% for upcoming bills.
20% for my kids, non essentials. 
10% for maintainance fund or spent immediately on house and or cars.
Also my original buy is returned to my bank roll.

There is no  other way, imo and experience......

And what i mean by locked up, is gone not in reserve for buy ins or bank roll, etc.

When you win money in baccarat...........

Be careful, be conscious and be alert to the downfalls.  I truly wish I had these forums around back prior to the 2000's when I began in baccarat around 1980 in Atlantic City.  But, what is ironic and 'spot-on' to this VERY DAY, you won't readily hear it--get the advise--or be warned about the 'win money' in baccarat.  And IMO and in my experience---the win money is the good as well as the evil.  There is no single larger event in baccarat than winning and winning big (as compared to each of our bankrolls or buy-ins). 

Everyone tells you to play, play, play and keep playing, smack the casino and take their money.  Get back all your losses and 'ride the train' when you are winning.  Everyone!  From the hosts, to the dealers, to the floor people, to the other players and even your own people. 

So easy to say what you will do with your win money when you are not in the casino winning it.  So easy to say you will pocket it and build your bank roll.  So easy to say you will pocket it and go back to your regular wagering norm of 'so and so' once the train slows down.  So easy.............but in almost every case when it happens, the player corrupts himself.  Sorry, it is the brutal and honest truth, it is the way we are schooled and trained long before gambling.  It is how our brains think, saying such things as---it worked and I won because  I did so and so, so I will keep wagering that way, or they can not stop me, or I have it figured out, anyone of those or any one of hundreds of other ones. 

And the one simple thing almost everyone playing baccarat seems to forget, not recognize or refuse to think is true, is that almost every 'section' of every shoe is opposite of another, the next or the previous 'section' and if one is the same or perhaps two or three or four, then an equal amount or thereabouts will be the opposite to meet the true meaning of random.  Random happens while we are all playing, not the other person, you and I.  And if you continually win because  of your wagering thoughts, ideas and styles, it is not a system or a holy-grail found pot-of-gold to become rich from there on out.  But, as smart as we all are, you tend to not think that way when those larger wins come across the table.  Sad, but true.

Winning to the player is the same as great food, women, a business where the money flows easily for a short period of time, a muscle car with 350 to 400 horsepower or more out on the open country roads, and hundreds of other great or exotic special events that 'take over' the person, his mind, his rationale and careful thinking and most of all, his simple judgement calls.   Those events happen and happen very exclusively and with great time limits.  As we all never want that Sunday gravy Italian dinner to end, or that dip in the rollar coaster to straighten out, or that special and most erotic sexual encounter to stop or that 5 minutes of your special son when he is standing in line to go into public school and away from you and his family for an 8 hour day for the very first time, etc., etc.  I laugh with tears from my eyes when I read on the message boards, "wager so and so for the 1's and 2's or whatever, and when you win, your stop win is 3 or 5 units and put that in your bankroll and leave the casino for the day.  Do that day in and day out and you will have $50,000.00 (or whatever number) after 90 days", or, "I figured it has to revert to so and so, because  of this or that, and when it does that is when the following event has to happen and you can wager on it and it has to win every time because  of such and such", etc.....................LOL!  Then when you do at the live table, and those 1's and 2's came along, then it goes to a streak of 14 and you lost 12 wagers straight or when the streak came, you won every hand and then gave back 5 times as much when it went to a series of 18 alternating chop-chops and you wagered every single one wrong because you were following something someone said had to happen, or was supposed to happen because  it happened in 891 shoes out of the 900 he tested, or happened 992,500 times out of 1,000,000 test events, etc.
