Baccarat Forum / Re: Easy way to feel the random flow

On the betting progression, you say 1 2 4.  Why not 1-2 -1 -2 if losing, then 1-2-4 if winning.  Just a thought.

How would you handle losing several in a row?  Would you continue betting or sit out?
Thanks,
John

I understand the betting strategy of betting 2 after a loss.  But how would you handle multiple losses in a row, i.e. 4 or 5 in a row?  Would you sit out or continuing betting?
I do love the strategy though.

Black orchid Casino has real live dealers, with real live shoes.  You must register but do not have to deposit funds.  You can play for free. In fact, in the USA you cannot deposit funds and play for real.   I would be happy to help test the system.

Try Black Orchid Casino.  They deal from a real 6 deck shoe.

Stephen,

I would be interested in that.

Thanks,

After reading your post I bought the book in Kindle form.  I read it in about an hour.  I like most of the premise of your system but not sure I like the risk/reward aspect.  I will not give anything away, but I am willing to try it.

Thanks,

John

Baccarat Forum / Re: Tie

Ties many times occur in one of the first 4 hands of a new shoe.  Also, if there are at least 12 ties in a shoe, bet the last hand to be a tie.

RIGHT ON!!  I have almost always played that way.  Early on, when I did re-buy, sometimes I recouped my money but most times it just added to my loss.  I no longer re-buy ever.

I play ties when a new dealer takes over,  plus I will play for tie on the last hand of the shoe if there has been 12 or more ties in the shoe.  This has worked fairly well for me.  Also, I sometimes see a tie on one of the first four hands of the shoe.

Personally, when I lose 3lar, I stop and virtually bet until a win. Then begin bets again.  I always bet minimum until win, then I use progression.  I never chase unless I am ahead in the shoe.

For a number of years I have been using a system called Yin/Yang for bet selection.  When it works, it is uncanny how it knows the next bet.  However, it works for about 40 - 45% of shoes.  I have been successful using it with my own MM.  When it stops working, I simply sit out or exit the shoe and wait for it to start working again.  I purchased the system from someone in Vegas about 7 years ago.  I will go back to that.  At least I know it's limitations.

Thanks for the response.  I have played Baccarat for over 30 years, and have done fairly well, though I do not always win, it comes in streaks.  I tried the BAT system in practice mode on an online casino for about 50 games.  It did quite well.  Then, I went to a local casino.  I did cut down the progression from 30 units to 13.  I immediately lost total bankroll.  I didn't even have a chance to order a drink.  Then, yesterday I tried it again.  I won the first game, then tried a second and lost.

This is why I asked the forum.  Was it just me, or is it a stupid system.  I think I have my answer.  Thanks to all who commented.

Does anyone use Greg Fletcher's BAT system with any success?
