Straight-up / Roulette Matrix Theory
April 11, 2023, 06:49:24 AM
I will be posting on this theme in coming weeks. It is a distillation of past insights from the master Matrix Theory, and learning from Nine Number Theory, to Snowball Theory, to WF Theory, to Cluster Analysis Theory, to Overview Theory, to Resonance Psychic Theory. It will be a few preliminary pages in draft form from a new book to be published in 2024 on Roulette Theory, and some seed ideas for a novel that features the life of a Professional Rouletteer. Lol. Happy Trails.

General Discussion / recognize the Trolls + TimeWasters
September 02, 2016, 07:03:05 PM
I endeavour to use my time and energy increasingly 'efficiently' as I learn to prioritise more in accord with my values. This a bio-feedback loop and I support and encourage that which works and ignore that which fails.

Likewise in dealing with roulette forums I give massive priority to BetSelection.cc because it is the rolls-royce of content and participants managed by a top professional team. Rarely but occasionally I look at Roulette30 or Roulette Forum. These two latter are blighted by poor moderation and an executive decision to permit trolls and divisive content. Nevertheless I would always want to give credit where it is due and I have frequently congratulated Steve on his table roulette game at rouletteplayers.org where three of my players bach, oasis and kubrick are on the leaderboard. It provided a useful training ground but now because I am a full time professional roulette player I have no further time or need for that device. It had its uses.

I came across a post on that forum written by 'The General' who is of course Caleb, Xander, Real, and a host of other facades. This troll was noting the 'demise' of roulette 30. Of course once again he got it wrong and Steve had stepped in to remind Kav while he was away for a few days that his forum had gone off line. Perhaps it illustrates the fine margin line such entities operate upon - there cannot be much income there, and it is' a nest of vipers' while managed by weak moderation. I wrote a rare piece there to sum my views of Caleb and his actions. Although apparently, I am advised by a colleague he is a specialist in mathematics, his manner and actions are disgusting ( such as his personal attacks on the late Dr Martin Blakey)  and to me represents a sink-hole in internet ethics and communication values. Best to steer well clear.

Control, discipline and order, ie restriction is a fundamental requirement of true freedom and this is a fundamental Life Principle. The nihilists have no idea of these universal principles as they do not recognize  such. Some mathematicians seem to adopt stone wall fixed attitudes which are so restrictive that fresh ways of looking at a problem are denied. Such is the case regarding Cluster Analysis in roulette where individual spin outcomes, although independent, are also inter-connected. Both - this seems hard for some to grasp, yet such is a characteristic of Quantum Mechanics in our real world.

Thus anarchists, nihilists and individuals with no worthwhile tested value systems are as children, as yet ignorant of more adult life.
And yes I am trying to become more adult in my life as I have an increasing framework and matrix order upon which I build. I encourage all my students to do such, and all my friends, and those with whom I have regular contact have their own, all unique and at differing stages of development. But this is actually what Life is all about - growth and development. It is an exciting and passionate life, and what I really love, it has no limits.

By contrast, from time to time in your travels, and in your reading, you will encounter 'entities' that are negative, cynical, and impossible to deal with. The smartest way is to detour and ignore them. Occasionally they interact and it is always really unsatisfactory. They are so unpleasant to deal with. One such is the recent interaction with Jake on this forum - who just does not get it, and with whom, and with a few like him, are real time wasters in that you can put in a vast amount of time and information and it will be like throwing knowledge down a well - pointless. My comment is the attitude that is wrong - not a personal attack on Jake. Curiosity, and openness to new ideas and potential growth is what is required, from me and those with whom I communicate.  Whether university students, friends, colleagues, correspondents, readers - I seek out the inter-action and exchange where we are all respected and can progress and move forward. That is what I try to encourage through this medium and again I give massive thanks to the Moderators and Vic at BetSelection.cc.

Business ideas / XXVV Markets
March 09, 2016, 08:30:21 PM
This is a platform I would like to develop over the coming year in order to introduce new links for business investment and growth. This
work will connect with Market Report and also with the Blog which is roulette focus but which has principle applications on many levels.

Thanks to Vic for upgrading and fresh format for the Forum and the timing is right to expand and be positive.

This question relates to my field of experience being roulette, and flat staking play in particular. Recently I have encountered several surprisingly different interpretations of 'winning edge'. Can you please provide some clarification for us ? The easy one is the house edge which is a fact in European Roulette and of course larger for double zero roulette, but what about the one where a player has an edge over the house ( having overcome the house edge) based on a statistically significant sample of live bet experience and the consistent application of one particular bet methodology and strategy?

At present I use a percentage expression/definition based on a sample over many sessions ( average duration say 100 spins) with total spins in excess of say 5000 spins. It seems to me there is a 'trading range' within several sample sizes of 5000 spins and at present I strike the midpoint as a guide, qualified by a guideline range either side. Of course within a sample itself there can be sessions which are losses, but in the greater scheme of things it appears there can be a positive outcome for several bet types.

The context for this question is work on an ever more 'efficient' bet. I am grateful to Sqzbox and others for this terminology and participation in this research, and also to Xander for putting forward his own interpretation and definition of 'edge'.

As I understand some of the variables that may qualify any answer let me add that although I recognize  the most efficient bet may be a single bet (ie one chip placed upon one target) for reasons of time availability I compromise a little and actually stake 9 targets for every bet application. Hence if struck on the first attempt I earn +27 units. I keep going until a hit or stop loss at -54 units and resume later with a fresh attack when appropriate.

General Discussion / A note on Martin Blakey's Book
July 26, 2014, 01:41:09 AM
Quote from: warrior on July 26, 2014, 12:09:18 AM
Does this book have any value ?

Howard Marks (HM) who is a larger than life philosopher/ scientist/ multi millionaire ex drug dealer/ advocate of cannabis/ travelling speaker and celebrity in the UK befriended Martin Blakey through the introduction by Martin's son Scott who is a business partner of Howard's and a world authority on cannabis ( a legitimate and massively growing business). Martin invited HM to a London Casino and demonstrated his winning strategy. HM was very impressed and the two became close friends and HM wrote a foreword for the new third edition of the book self published by Martin Blakey.

In his other writings Howard Marks has listed 5 books to be read before you die, and included in that short list is the Winning Strategy book by Martin Blakey.

It is up to you to evaluate this book as for any roulette enthusiast it is essential reading, as it is one book written by a true professional who obtained his Doctorate in mathematics through application of his roulette strategy.

The book in its basic format has been around for some time, since 1988 I believe when I purchased a first edition from the lobby of the lovely Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast Australia.

Since that time I have always had a copy at hand and now including the latest edition where some further detail on the strategy is included. However take note and beware there are several errors in the notes ( MB did not employ an editor) and some readers such as Bayes (on BetForum.cc) went to considerable (successful) efforts to make those corrections, for which MB was very grateful.

Perhaps some readers may be able to add these notes to this thread kindly established by Warrior.

I have received information today from a close colleague of Martin's who often played at the same casino with him and used his system, acknowledging and confirming the value and net success of the strategy. There were wins and losses, but the wins were never excessive so as to attract adverse casino reaction, and the gains outweighed the losses, so that with daily play the gains steadily accumulated.

In his last letter to me in late May, Martin scheduled his month results and as always, the net gains were there, providing a comfortable lifestyle as a professional player. He also advised he had made a further break through in strategic play.

MB retained some secrets of course but is a legend in professional play, always a gentleman, and a charming narrator. He is much under-estimated and I believe in years to come he will be seen as a benchmark and star in his chosen realm of expertise.

Recommend access to the website www.roulettemastered.com

There are three key qualities throughout Martin's professional career - discipline, patience, and a winning strategy where wins outweigh losses although losses are conceded but the losses are never chased, and every day is a fresh start on a new set of opportunities usually targeting 16 numbers by way of 4 corner bets. Efficient and economical. Risk Bank around 250 units. The overdue sleeping set of 16 that goes beyond the tipping point is targeted. Detailed computer analysis of bet characteristics identified that more often than not, the outcome would be profitable, never spectacular, but sufficient to enable consistent gain at the end of the week when there are 6 days played per week.

In his last mail to me on May 20 he scheduled for me his previous 7 days results. He asked me to keep the detail in confidence but I can tell you the overall result which utilized 5 sessions of $5 units and 2 sessions of $10 units.

Meticulous records were kept and the 7 sessions totaled 20.5 hours.

Targets were one of the 15 sets of 16 numbers that qualify in his bet characteristic requirements and outcomes are monitored by an assistant through the course of play to identify the qualifying set.

There was no losing session and net gain was +$5405.

Well played Martin!

General Discussion / Martin Blakey
July 24, 2014, 09:05:43 PM
I have been advised of the sudden death of Martin Blakey.

He was a brilliant mathematician, and player of professional roulette, and shared his experiences openly with encouragement to all new players and experienced players alike. He played roulette daily and loved the game with great passion. His writing encouraged many to come to the game.

I have followed the links with Martin for over 25 years and over the past 12 months in particular he had written to me frequently endeavouring to help clarify and further develop his very private but extremely successful methodology. As he stated to me he played much the same core approach over the 40 years of his professional career, but with success and scale he was now able to play with an assistant so that the target of a particular set of 16 numbers ( notable by their absence) could be arranged. He was a regular feature at the table at the Private Members Room Crown Casino, Melbourne, Australia.

He was always the gentleman, and handled criticism with such good grace as I could never ever manage or imagine. Doubtless then he was confident and assured of his knowledge, and no one could threaten that ( although some on BetForum,cc have tried) or could take that away. That is a fine principle to learn from.

It is a reminder too for all of us, how quickly things can change, how sudden can be the passage from life to death, and to value what is offered to us with respect. Also a reminder to be kind to one another, not so separate.

Martin was very proud of the achievements of his family in all endeavours. As he said, all were educated at home, and professional roulette had provided the income to support the family at all times. Now that is some real achievement.

Best to you Martin and the family. Thanks for your efforts, much appreciated.

General Discussion / A Peaceful and Sunny Forum
June 05, 2014, 06:55:36 AM
It is a pleasure to be here and to write, explore, research, amidst a genuine collection of the brightest minds who specialise in roulette and other casino studies. May this be a growing centre for constructive discussion, great research and experiments in understanding of the nature of roulette and ways to harness the opportunities therein. Always looking for fresh insights, thanks to Vic and the team.

General Discussion / Living in the Present
April 05, 2014, 12:59:09 AM
Greetings all.

This is a little note to encourage Vic. and note recent behaviour and various interpretations, wishing to let all that flow as water under the bridge, and eventually out to sea!

I have never been interested in politics or too many orthodoxies because I find it can be very divisive. I find it better to work together at least in principle and it can be tricky in practice, but with such synergy anything is possible. Sometimes we come to cross roads and not quite sure how it all happened and some get upset over conflicting interpretations. In my experience there are always at least two sides to every dispute or disagreement, and that is why the legal profession will always flourish.

Out of this Forum business comes great opportunity for fresh beginnings and I note the new section on Passive Income which I can assure you could be a web site in its own right given the way things are going economically, socially and with increasing access to inter-connectedness via the internet and all future media. We live in an increasingly connected world.

I am excited for the new fresh look for this Forum and I will be delighted to continue to participate and in the new section on business ideas to contribute.

Also I will be writing on Bet Forum.cc and maintaining all my threads here and expand that work as the self moderated Blog format available to both these Forums is the way to really go forward and avoid the nonsense of negative and time waste posters.

Let's move on and if it takes an improved business model so be it.

Open for discussion - please let me have your views on the subject :  As a Player you have the freedom to join and/ or quit the game at your will. In other words you choose when to join a game - perhaps you have seen an opportunity arising and you want to seize that opportunity. Perhaps also you have made a suitable profit, whether on one spin or a hundred or more spins.  Or you have made a loss but you wish to cut that loss and stop loss immediately as you read the current phase of the game as hostile. As the Player you have additional degrees of freedom.

You have degrees of freedom not available to the Casino Bank.

What, if any, is the percentage positive edge thus gained by the Player, over the House, being able to choose point of entry/ exit?

Or is this concept already factored into existing negative expectation percentage?

Or is this an imaginary construct?

Please advise.

Meta-selection / CLUMPING THEORY
January 14, 2013, 08:18:32 PM
The recent thread that developed from an earlier post by Juiced91 (Bob the Old Fogey)  and expert comments by Vic and others that ensued, deserves to have its own space because this is a very fertile area of research and study with multiple strike opportunities and suggests there may be characteristics here that make this a smart bet.
