Baccarat Forum / blackjack anyone?
April 23, 2015, 04:47:06 PM
I think most will agree basic strategy doesn't work anymore.....

I have basic strategy down and I lose 90% of the time I play BJ. We have double deck, 6 and 8 deck tables. It don't matter what table. I can play 1-1 or I play 2 hands and I get killed....

I have also counted using the hi-low method, KO blackjack, etc. I think they don't work because basic strategy is stuff now....Why else would a casino sell these cards to the public?

Love to hear your thoughts....

Baccarat Forum / holy grail
April 22, 2015, 04:12:28 PM
I think the holy grail is as follows:

You do what the shoe is doing and you separate P & B into mini games within the big game (the entire shoe). So, if the shoe is chopping, bet for chop, if you win, STOP until the shoe streaks, then bet for a streak, if you WIN, stop and wait for it to chop. If you lose, you need a progression and you need a stop. If you lose 3-4 times, stop, wait for your virtual wins and then get back in.

Honestly, I cannot see another way to consistently beat this game....Using a progression will allow you to recoup the 3-4 losers in a row, maybe more if you get back in after sitting and take some more losses, flat betting will not cut it.....

Baccarat Forum / Lets talk about Ellis's 2HI
March 19, 2015, 02:40:47 AM
His MDB is no good. Two members have used this in their casinos and it does not work. We all know systems work some of the time. I also spoke to a guy who has bought almost every single one of ellis's systems and REFUSES to give him one more penney.

Based upon that, I would have to guess that this 2HI is going to be crappola, the same ole' crappola he has been spewing for 20+ years now. I won't reveal the members name but lets just say he knows ellis personally for a longggg time and has watched and played with him MANY times and he has admitted that he is a "systems seller". Now, I know this isn't a revelation to most, but I hope that to the naive, unsuspecting person who googles baccarat and finds his site, they don't max out their credit card on buying his ridiculous stuff.

Heck, I been offered 2HI a few times for a split of a measly 200 bucks. For what? It's already a loser!

I thought this was the land of the free? Adulay even said speak your mind! We speak our mind and now it's locked? Did Ellis threaten you with a lawsuit or say he would punch you in the nose? Unreal

Baccarat Forum / patterns
February 16, 2015, 03:18:00 AM
ya I know, our minds love patterns. it creates them to make sense out of what we see and groups things to make it clearer. But, on some shoes, they seem to exist..

tonight played maybe 5-6 shoes, seen 2x2 for like 6x in a row. Seen 65 hands never break past 3 (pit boss strategy really would have whipped this shoe). one shoe would go 2players, 1 bank, 2 players, 1 bank, 2 players, 1 bank, then went to 2 players, 2 banks, 2 players, 1 bank.....

then i posted in the other thread the 19 banks....

1st 2 shoes just couldnt catch a break....have bank with 7-1 lead, player draws a 7 beats me. players has 1, I have 2, I draw a snowman for 0......

just some insane stuff in the beginning.....even tried eirscotts bday paradox, 1st 6 pairs of 3 were different!! Then went downhill and couldnt play because you would have BB and I already had BBP and BBB, so no bet!! Just was an off night until I walked to the table and seen 8 or 9 banks in a row and  rode that baby to get my money back and then pressed with the house money.....

Needed it that's for sure!

February 16, 2015, 02:59:51 AM
Went from out thousands to up thousands. 1st time I seen 19 banks. Now seen that and 17 chops. I think 13-14 players I seen. Seen 3 ties in a row, 4 out of 5.....

Seriously?

All I see if blacked out boxes hiding the holy grail. People saying after they see a shoe they can win with this/that/any method.........I mean im typing here in bed laughing to myself, the wife says, what are you laughing at? Oh nothing, same old stuff on an internet forum. People (wannabees) saying they win money but no one produces anything...........

Lets get productive shall we?

Lets talk about using Pit bosses method with the penthouse progression.....

Pros/cons? Anything you would like to add, tweak, etc?

Lets see what we can do....Please, no black boxes covering up data [smiley]aes/joking.png[/smiley]

Baccarat Forum / My take on "systems"
November 20, 2014, 07:23:42 PM
1st off, my definition of a system is one that is 100% mechanical that takes away all thoughts and emotions from the player. It is simply, when to place your bet, how much to bet, and on what to bet.

There may be a recovery mode if you lose X amount of units or something similar but in general, there is NO DISCRETION involved on the players end. You are simply a robot executing the game plan.

I think most would agree, there is NOT ONE SYSTEM than can beat every shoe. Sure, some days, weeks, months, hell even years, a system may seem like the holy grail. As I explained in one of my earlier posts, I thought I had one, boy was I wrong!!!!!

I have probably looked over 50 systems, from the NOR from Ellis, to the Dragon systems, to the Benson systems, from Izaks systems, to systems I had Izak program for me, the frankenstein systems, etc, etc. They all end up the same. In the junkyard of systems.....

The only system I would ever consider putting real money on now would be Pit Bosses system. At least in my local casino, it does seem to hold its own and rarely has a bad day.

Why I don't play it all the time is beyond me. I guess I am like most. I am not satisfied grinding out a few units and going home. I want more, I get greedy, I am constantly looking to fine tune things.

I did that for months with the zumma books. I would find something that did so well for the 1st 50 shoes only to give back all the winnings in the next 5-10 shoes. It would make me sick the time and effort only to be reminded of the simple fact that I know in the back of my mind, yet, I have such a hard time accepting!!!

I really wish someone had something worth some substance. I would gladly pay a hefty fee (like 99.99999999% of the baccarat players out there).....

I rambled enough! :)

Baccarat Forum / Question for the MODS
November 19, 2014, 07:21:13 PM
Couple questions if you don't mind:

1) If I purchase I play for a living, can I post the content here to share with others?

2) If no, how can I go about doing so without causing issues for the board?

3) Feel free to PM me if needed.

I may just spend 500 and shut the posers up about their so called "holy grail". With the smarts and experience people on here have, it won't take 3 months to figure if its stuff or if its real.

I am serious, let me know..........

Baccarat Forum / Ride the Waves
October 24, 2014, 06:05:38 PM
Found this on another site, looks quite good.

This is a bet selection method that is just a tad bit difficult to explain but is worth the effort.

We are going to keep track by giving a numeric value to an even chance repeating and another numeric value to an even chance alternating.

Streak is what I will call repeating.
The numeric value for a streak is +1.
RR is a streak and is a +1 numeric value.

Chop is what I will call alternating.
The numeric value for a chop is -1.
RB is a chop and is a -1 numeric value.

We will track by keeping a running total of our +1' and our -1's.

RRB = the numeric value for these 3 results is +1 for the RR and -1 for the RB.
Our numeric line would look like this: +1,0.  In other words we keep a running total for a line.

RRBRBBRB Numeric values are: +1-1-1-1+1-1-1
Running total for RRBRBBRB is +1,0,-1,-2,-1,-2,-3

We keep our chart vertically, like this:

R
R   +1
B     0
R   -1
B   -2
B   -1
R   -2
B   -3

We don't bet every spin like with most of my systems.  Although, as you will see, there are going to be plenty of betting opportunities.

Our betting opportunities come after there is a change in direction.  If we have the following line

+1
0
-1
-2
-1
-2
-3
-2   Right here is a change in direction and is a trigger for a bet.
-1   Right here is a bet that won because we always bet that the change in direction continues.
0
+1
+2
+1   Right here is another change in direction and a trigger for a bet
+2   This bet lost because there was another change in direction

With our 1st trigger above, we were in a streaking stage.  We know that because our line was moving in a positive direction.  That means  that whatever color brought us to -2 is the color we bet on to take us to -1

Our line looks like this:

R
R  +1
B   0
R  -1
B  -2
B  -1
R  -2  Right here we are climbing a wave
B  -3  Right here is the top of the wave
B  -2  Right here is the trigger that we have started down the wave
B  -1  Right here is our bet that we will continue down the wave
B  0
B  +1
B  +2  Right here is the bottom of the wave
R  +1  Right here is the trigger that we have started up the wave
R  +2  Right here is where we lost our bet because we always bet that the change in direction will continue and in this case it didn't.  Can't win them all.

There is 1 rule I haven't mentioned yet.  We must have a least 2 steps either up or down the wave before we can bet after it turns.

The following has an example of where we can't bet.

R  +1
R  +2  This is the 1st movement in a direction
R  +3  This is a 2nd movement in the same direction
B  +2  This is a trigger for a change in direction and a bet
R  +1  This bet wins because the change in direction continues
R  +2
B  +1  This indicates a change in directions but no bet because only 1 step in the direction
R   0

This bet selection method is based on the idea that the spins of the roulette wheel move up and down creating the outline of a mountain range.  We know that eventually a movement in one direction has to come to an end and very often it goes in the other direction for a while.  Then, it changes again and goes back in the previous direction for a while.

We're just trying to catch the change in direction.  We're betting that the change in direction will last at least 2 spins.

The 2 step requirement before we can bet if there is a change in direction is fairly aggressive and can be extended to 3 spins or even 4 spins in a direction before we can bet on a turn around.  This will give us fewer bets, but is a little safer.

Once you get familiar with tracking this method on 1 even chance, you can add a second even chance to track also and this will give you twice the betting opportunities.  Then, add the 3rd even chance and you will have 3 times the number of betting opportunities.  This will keep you hopping, but is doable and is recommended so as to maximize your time at the wheel.

My limited testing of this method indicates that a flat bet has a good chance of winning.

I can also recommend my "Ratio Betting" method listed under "Money Management" as another bet method.

Test it with a flat bet first before going to a progression.  You may decide that the risks associated with a progression are not necessary to stay ahead of the game with this method.

Tell me what you think,

Baccarat Forum / Still think Pit Bosses one of the best
October 23, 2014, 02:14:03 AM
I talked about what I use in another thread. From time to time, I still like to use Pit Bosses method.

Bet against 2's and 3's, and went with 4's until streak broke.  a 1-2-4 progression. I can't remember his win stop, I think his stop was like -8 or 9 units. But that is really up to the player.

One system I used to use all the time and had super success and then it flamed out like the others was this:

Wait for 1st hand, bet for a chop. If it chopped, keep betting it. If it went to 2, bet with it that it goes to 3 and ride it out. 2's are the only culprit but as we know, they can come in bunches. Can remember A LOT of shoes seeing PP-BB-PP-BB-PP. You need to stop after X amount or you will be out a lot of units FAST!!!

1st off, all system sellers, people who say they have bought so and so's system and found the holy grail but won't share it or can't share it, please, don't bother in this thread.

This thread is for ideas. Ideas that work for some doesn't mean they will work for everyone.

As I stated, I let the board tell me what is going on. I don't try to assert my will on the game, I let the game dictate as to how I react and play.

If the board has PBP (chopping), I certainly am not going to go against the chop. Same thing if the board starts PPP or BBB, I will go with the streak.

If it starts PP BB P(?), I will definitely play P to "double up". This works for me.

Also, people who know pit bosses system, if I see 30-40 hands and there are no streaks past 3-4, I will play my doubles and then fade from that point on.

Again, I let the shoe tell me. Does it always work? HELL NOOOO! But, I will be honest, in the past 6 months, I think the worst I have done at the tables is break even. Usually, being disciplined, I am able to grind out a profit.

MM is key, if I lost X amount of bets I may bump up my base bet to try to recoup what I lost because it's a matter of time before the tide turns. With how I play above, its very difficult to lose a lot and keep losing....

Love to hear what works for others....
