ADulay gave me the idea for this thread.
I do like sunrises, sunsets, rainbows and unique sky colors. Here are a few. Could not resist to capture them.
First one was about 20-25 minutes earlier than the second one. It was a fantastic coloring of the sky with a gradual relief of the dark black cluster of clouds.
The absolute best and most defined rainbow I ever witnessed. Pulled over on the side of the highway to capture this.
A great sunrise.
Sunset. Looked like the sky was exploding and on fire.
A sunrise that seemed like it was hours at super brightness.
First a sunrise beyond a cluster of clouds ready to burst open with rain. Then a quick rainbow. This all happened in less than 10 minutes.
The sunrise was absolutely blinding! But what was unique was the absolute blackout of it by extraordinary black clouds.
Last winter in Kansas City, just a totally painted sky in the early morning.

Terrific!!!!

December sunrise from my house
Although not one of my sought out favorites of sunrises, sunsets and rainbows-thought this chair and tv out in an extremely rural roadside ditch was unique.
Yesterday morning, a total painted pastel sky.
F-105 Thunder Chief fighter Jet
The F-105 Thunder Chief fighter jet at the entrance of the Chillicothe Municipal Airport. The aircraft has stood over the entrance along US 36 since 1985.
The old jet was originally painted red, white, and blue, but in 2008 it was taken down, restored, and painted in more traditional colors. According to news reports from that time, the F-105 doesn't have any specific association with the town or its airport; Chillicothe just wanted a plane that looked impressive.
Alrelax: Past this yesterday and I must say, it does look impressive!
Taken at the back of the boat after a hard day of whatever it is I do on the boat all day.

That is north of gorgeous!!
Thx alrelax. Awesome pics/thx for taking the time to post. Did you take with your smart phone or other camera?
*I like to go deep sea fishing a lot and one of the most serene feelings is being out in the ocean so far one can't see land. Then watching as the sun starts setting/dropping below the horizon and distant water levels. It makes one realize we are such a tiny speck in the big scheme of things.
Continued Success,

Everything posted with either an iPhone 13 or an XR iPhone.
This morning.
Here is one from the other day. The DeLorean looked and sounded awesome! 9,080 were manufactured. Not many around that are road worthy from what I read.
Anyone like these?
Had to snap a picture of this RV. The Jetson's?.
Full rainbow from the other day!
Turning the picture on post #13 upside down.......seems like it would be more artistic.
I took these pictures yesterday early morning, Friday May 24th. The area has seen an unprecedented amount of horrible damaging tornadoes and as well unprecedented severe damaging thunderstorms.
Going down the interstate and all of a sudden I approached the lowest set of darkened clouds I ever witnessed. They were just a bit higher off the ground than the top of a power line pole. I would say at one point possibly 100 feet at most from the roadway!
Hey guys,
This is a test video (20 seconds) to see if the Google Photos rig works a bit easier than my usual method of uploading to YouTube and posting that type of link.
This was coming back from the range after the Monday night match.
If you cannot view it or it looks bad on your screen, please let me know.
The "Google" link is just that. A link to the video whereas the YouTube video displays as a video. Try them both and they "should" look identical.

Hi ADulay
They look identical IMO.
Continued Success,
What a wicked sky earlier tonight. Completely black rolled in, over a beautiful bright clear sky. Unique as well, was the UFO looking round opening.
Well let's try this one again.
We all do something other than gamble with our daily lives and one of my things is competitive shooting.
This particular video is a run where you needed to shoot each target with three shots. Two to the body and one to the head. Pretty easy with an optic and a semi-automatic pistol but a little more difficult with an iron sight revolver! And that was the division I was shooting.
As it turned out I shot it "clean" meaning no points down for misses.
I still think YouTube is a better medium for videos but I was in a hurry today so we get Google Photos tonight.
