I think if you have developed a bac method which can turn a negative -1.2 expectation in bac to a positive expectation of about  1.5 % or 2%, or can generate a 1.5 to 2 unit win per shoe over a very large sample size, then I would use a simple conservative          % of bankroll method to bet....such as start  betting 2 % of a $ 1,000 bankroll which is   
$ 20 and just keep betting 2% as your bankroll grows........after about 50 or more shoes your will be betting $150 to $ 200  a hand

And eventually you will be betting $ 500 to $ 1000 a hand,,,,assuming you don't get banned because the casino will assume you are cheating.......this of course is similar to compound interest which a bank offers, the money grows very, very fast after a large amount of shoes have been played.... unfortunately, of course the problem is developing the methodology which gives you the advantage....and good luck doing that.

Asym......Sorry you got banned......most casinos will not fool around with you if you get really physically or verbally abusive.....unlessyou are a real big whale who bets and losses  $ millions.

Someone I know had too much to drink and was getting obnoxious and getting too familiar with a girl who was working at a small convenience store in the casino ( she wasn't even a 
dealer ) and she had enough so she called security and he was permanently banned.

It's best not to lose your temper or drink alcohol when in a casino....... people do crazy things when they are drunk.

There is another definition for drawdown mainly used by futures and stock traders....and that is how much of a decline in profits comes after a new bankroll ( trading capital ) high is reached.  You can also use this definition for any kind of gambling results.

For example, you have the following winning shoes:

+  $ 100
+  $ 200
+  $ 400

so now you have a new bankroll high of $ 700

Now the next 2 shoes are
- $50
-$100

So now your bankroll is $ 550 and you are in a  drawdown of $ -$150

Then the next 3 shoes are :

+ 200
+ $50
+ $100

So now your bankroll is $ 900  which is greater than your last bankroll high of $ 700 .......and a new drawdown will start when your losses will go below the $ 900 bankroll.

Now the next 2 shoes are

$ -50
$ -100

So now you are in a -$ 150 drawdown from the  previous bankroll high of $ 900 and you will be in a drawdown until you exceed the last bankroll high of $ $ 900 ....... and so on and so on.

Of course you will need all your shoe results recorded on a spreadsheet to calculate the drawdown along with numerous other important statistics.
